Which quote from sixth-year quarterback Sam Noyer do you like the best?
- "I’m going to try and take those guys (Shrout and Lewis) under my wing and help them as much as I can ... It's important for me to whatever I can to help those guys in any way" (58%, 107 Votes)
- I love to compete. I wouldn’t want it to go any other way. It’s been a crazy career ... I've had an opportunity to learn a lot ... A lot of ups and downs, but I've made lifelong friends" (32%, 59 Votes)
- “I think (the injury) played a little bit of a role (in his decline in play in 2020). I’m not one to make excuses or anything, but I do think that some throws that I can normally make when healthy" (10%, 18 Votes)

Which of following conclusions by Neill Woelk about CU's spring practices has you the most excited about the 2021 season?
- Dorrell's culture now has a foundation. Now, things like "accountability," "ownership" and "discipline" are more than just words. The Buffs know what is expected of them in these areas (39%, 86 Votes)
- Development of roster depth was a priority and the Buffs met that priority. The Buffs have more depth across the board and more players who are more comfortable in the new schemes (36%, 79 Votes)
- A shift in offensive philosophy: The Buffs are making a concerted effort to involve the tight end more in the passing game as well as create more opportunities for running backs in space (25%, 56 Votes)

If the CBS 2022 NFL draft projections are correct, CU will face seven first round picks this fall. Thoughts?
- Doesn't mean anything. Seven players out of the several hundred who will take the field against the Buffs is a small percentage. It's still a team sport, and a motivated Buff squad can hold its own (69%, 134 Votes)
- It is what it is ... Who knows? If Nate Landman has a great season, perhaps CU's opponents will be facing a first round draft pick themselves (22%, 42 Votes)
- Considering CU faced only three first round draft picks in the past two seasons combined, this shows the Buffs better be prepared for what will be a tough 2021 schedule (9%, 18 Votes)

Which quirky 2021 NFL Draft fact do you find to be the most interesting/surprising?
- That for the first time since the draft began, Michigan State failed to produce a single drafted player (way to coach 'em up, Mel!) (70%, 146 Votes)
- That the state of Colorado is most populous state in the country without a single draft pick (out of the 12 states which failed to produce a drafted player) (21%, 44 Votes)
- That the Missouri Valley Conference - an FCS conference - had more draft picks (4) than did the FBS Mountain West Conference (3) (9%, 20 Votes)

Two offensive linemen - Valentin Senn and Nikko Pohahau - enter transfer portal. Thoughts?
- It's a tough business, but the reality is that CU has to cut down on its scholarship total, and these two players were in Boulder for two seasons without ever seeing the field of play (65%, 202 Votes)
- Nothing against the young men, but these were two of the lowest rated recruits from Class of 2019. If attrition is to come, it's likely going to come from the lowest rated recruits (22%, 69 Votes)
- So ... CU didn't have enough offensive linemen to conduct a full scrimmage, and is now down two more? Unless there are some offensive line transfers coming this spring/summer, CU could be in trouble (13%, 41 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
