NCAA in final steps in moving NCAA men's and women's basketball tournaments to 76 teams. Thoughts?
- Not a fan. You really think that more play-in games between 16 seeds will keep fans interested? Excited to have in-depth debates about whether the 10th-place team in the SEC should get in? Pass (67%, 35 Votes)
- Not to be too much of a homer, but anything which expands the field to give my Buffs a better chance at meaningful post-season play is okay in my book. Bring it on! (25%, 13 Votes)
- Like it. The more the merrier. March Madness is one of the best three week stretches in the sports calendar. Having close games as an entry to the Big Dance will only add more intrigue (8%, 4 Votes)

Who do you think will be CU's highest NFL Draft pick next April?
- Defensive back Boo Carter. Not sure why things didn't work out at Tennessee, but the former five-star recruit seems to have his head on straight, and is playing with a chip on his shoulder (49%, 43 Votes)
- Wide receiver Omarion Miller ... Oh, I can't take a transfer? All I care about right now is that CU has draft-worthy talent on the roster, so CU won't be shut out of the Draft again next April (25%, 22 Votes)
- Wide receiver Danny Scudero. After leading the nation in receiving yards (1,291), Scudero brings his talent to the Power Four and the Go-Go offense. He'll have a big season (26%, 22 Votes)

Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby enters a gambling addition program. Thoughts?
- Hope for the best for the young man, but this is a real test for the NCAA. From the reports, Sorsby bet on his own team. This should bring about a "permanent loss of eligibility". We'll see (60%, 63 Votes)
- My take? Sorsby will receive a suspension for just enough games to be reinstated to play CU on October. Yes, it's a cynical view, but I'm a Buff fan, so that's my default (26%, 27 Votes)
- Checking into a program (Note: After spring practices) sounds like a school voluntarily giving up scholarships before being penalized, in hopes that "self-penalization" will offset future penalties (14%, 15 Votes)

Colorado has now gone four of the past five NFL Drafts without a selection. Thoughts?
- If Jordyn Tyson and Colton Hood had been drafted as Buffs, no one would be complaining. It's not that CU can't attract players, it's that CU can't keep them. It's all about the $$$ (65%, 92 Votes)
- Not unexpected, but still hurtful. Coach Prime came in with his gold jacket, promising to get prospects to The League. Not a good look for Coach Prime, or the CU program (31%, 44 Votes)
- What's really telling is that the Big 12 set a record for total commits (38), with CU one of only three schools in the Big 12 with no picks. Another sign that CU isn't taking football seriously (4%, 5 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Kenny Fairley. Thoughts?
- Always glad to get a commitment, but Fairley only had offers from two other Power Four schools. Hopefully, he'll have a great senior season (and stick with CU) (47%, 44 Votes)
- Nice pickup. Fairley has decent size (6'1", 280-pounds) for an edge rusher, and I like that he had dominant stats for a Georgia high school team which went 15-0 last season (35%, 33 Votes)
- Coach Prime doesn't take many freshmen recruits, especially at positions of development. Defensive line is certainly a position of need ... too bad he can't play this year (18%, 17 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
