How would you grade CU's incoming transfers on offense, compared to the transfers who have left Boulder?
- A wash. There are some good players coming in, and I'm trusting that offensive coordinator Brennan Marion knows what he is doing in bringing in four Sacramento State starters (64%, 7 Votes)
- An upgrade. There are quality transfers coming in across the board. Yes, CU lost some starters (and potential NFL Draft picks), but the Buffs now have an offense which has balance and depth (27%, 3 Votes)
- A downgrade. You can put a spin on it if you would like, but you can't give up a Top Ten first round left tackle and consider the off-season transfer trades to be a success (9%, 1 Votes)

Oklahoma State sets a new "record", with 64 transfers out in one season, "besting" CU's 56 in 2023. Thoughts?
- It's not national news, because, in today's game, it's not news. Iowa State had 54 leave, and West Virginia is brining in 49 freshmen. It's not an anti-CU thing ... it's just the new normal (53%, 74 Votes)
- I don't mind Oklahoma State not being dinged for bringing in 60 new players. What I do mind is how national pundits are picking Oklahoma State to rise from the ashes this year. No such love for CU (30%, 42 Votes)
- Oh, and this is not national news? I guess it only is a big deal if Coach Prime does it. Just another example of how the national media is always targeting Coach Prime for negative stories (17%, 24 Votes)

CBS Sports gives Coach Prime a grade of "C+" for his first three seasons at Colorado. Thoughts?
- About right. Coach Prime gets kudos for making CU relevant again (the CBS article has Coach Prime in its headline), but a 3-9 record is bad. Fix it, or this will be his last season (64%, 77 Votes)
- Too low. Everyone forgets the dumpster fire Coach Prime inherited. His method for building a roster was ridiculed at the time, but now is being copied across the nation. He gets a "B" in my book (28%, 33 Votes)
- Too high. Coach Prime rode NFL talent to wins in his first two seasons, but cratered in Year Three. A 16-21 record is not worthy of a "C+" record. I'd go with "C-/D+" (8%, 10 Votes)

Report: Defensive lineman Ezra Christiansen signs with CU (appeal hearing pending). Thoughts?
- It's going to come down to coaching. Last season, CU brought in highly rated linemen, and they didn't work out. Christiansen had great production at NM State - that needs to translate to the Big 12 (53%, 80 Votes)
- Very good news. A position of need, and one of the best of the dozen defensive lineman CU is bringing in (highest graded Conference USA lineman). A good day for the Buff Nation (35%, 53 Votes)
- Christiansen is one of the best defensive linemen CU has signed, but still only the No. 353 player overall in the Transfer Portal. Hardly time for champagne (12%, 18 Votes)

What record for CU this fall would put Coach Prime on the "hot seat?'
- None. Coach Prime is: a) a much better option than anyone else CU could bring in; and/or b) CU can't afford Coach Prime's $10 million buyout (39%, 63 Votes)
- I don't the record will come into play. I'm foreseeing Coach Prime leaving on his own terms - whether due his health, or just his because he's tired of coaching and wants to go watch Shedeur play (38%, 60 Votes)
- Another 3-9 record, or even a 4-8 record. If there is not recognizable improvement this year, the new Athletic Director may start looking around for the next CU head coach (23%, 37 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
