Which of the following factoids about Arizona to you is the most eyebrow raising?
- That when CU defeated Arizona last season in Tucson, 34-7, the Buffs sacked Fifita seven times. This year, Arizona is ranked 109th in sacks allowed, so hopefully history will repeat itself (42%, 22 Votes)
- That Arizona's defense has given up only four touchdown passes all season. With CU's rushing attack struggling (again), this is not a very encouraging stat (40%, 21 Votes)
- That quarterback Noah Fifita went 24-for-26 passing in his last game ... and still lost. Arizona lost 31-28 to Houston, but it wasn't Fifita's fault (18%, 9 Votes)

Coach Prime: "They understand the mission. We just got our butts kicked. Just flush the toilet and move on”. Thoughts?
- We've been through the before ... Oregon embarrassed CU ... as did Washington State ... as did BYU in the Alamo Bowl. Learn from it and move on ... and try to not let it happen again (please?) (51%, 58 Votes)
- Sounds about right. You can't let the Utes beat you twice. The Utah game only counts as one loss. If the Buffs dwell on last week's game, it will affect their performance this weekend (30%, 34 Votes)
- Sounds wrong. If you don't learn from your mistakes, you are doomed to repeat them. I'd rather hear Coach Prime talk about how he made the players watch the Utah tape all day Sunday (19%, 22 Votes)

Coach Prime on Utah: “They blitzed us to death. Be ready for next week (against Arizona). Cat’s out the bag. Be ready for it". Thoughts?
- Arizona is 68th in the nation in team sacks (two per game), but is giving up 140 yards rushing per game. Here's an idea: Run the ball well; sacks allowed will take care of itself (56%, 68 Votes)
- You know the saying: Acknowledging the problem is the first step to solving it. Let's hope the Buffs can figure it out, and keep it from happening again (26%, 32 Votes)
- The Buffs had only allowed 14 sacks in seven games before giving up seven to Utah. Not sure that sacks allowed is the biggest problem for the Buffs heading into the game against Arizona (18%, 21 Votes)

CU opens as a 4.5-point home underdog to Arizona (Saturday, 5:00 p.m., MT, FS1). Thoughts?
- Shows where CU stands in the national narrative. This would be a touchdown game on a neutral field. A penciled in win two months ago will now be a dog fight. Fingers crossed the Buffs bounce back (69%, 118 Votes)
- Sounds like an overreaction to me. Arizona has lost three of its last four games ,with the only win coming over Oklahoma State. Buffs respond with a Homecoming win! (22%, 37 Votes)
- I would normally be concerned that Arizona would be better prepared, coming off of a bye. But, after seeing what CU looked like after its bye week, Arizona's bye may be an advantage for CU (9%, 15 Votes)

Utah 53, Colorado 7. Thoughts?
- It looks like the Buffs took the bye week off, and then apparently decided to take the rest of the season off. I thought we had put the 2022 season behind us, but I guess I was wrong (43%, 83 Votes)
- I just hope that the Buffs don't let the Utes beat them more than once. This only counts as one loss ... unless the Buffs decide to let this loss hang over them the rest of the season (33%, 64 Votes)
- Utah came into the game with a top ten rushing offense. CU came into the game with a bottom ten rushing defense. If you didn't see this coming, you weren't paying attention to reality (24%, 45 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
