Thoughts on the report that Coach Prime has been having health issues the past month
- Best wishes to Coach Prime. I hope that we learn more about what is going on, and whether this is something we will need to worry about as the season approaches (41%, 63 Votes)
- Many coaches have health issues, so I'm choosing to believe that Coach Prime chose May - the slowest month of the college football year - to take care of his business, and is good to go (30%, 46 Votes)
- Troublesome. Anything which causes you to lose 14 pounds in a month (and miss Travis Hunter's wedding) is disconcerting. I hope this is only temporary. Is this why CU was lacking on spring transfers? (29%, 45 Votes)

Who will be CU's starting quarterback for the opener against Georgia Tech?
- Kaidon Salter. A two-year starter at Liberty, Salter has the experience to step into the starting role, and every indication out of the Champions Center is that Salter will be the Day One starter (84%, 162 Votes)
- Ryan Staub. While everyone has been concentrating on the new quarterbacks, Ryan Staub has been in Boulder, and knows the system. I wouldn't be surprised if Staub surprises us all and is the starter (12%, 23 Votes)
- Julian Lewis. It may be that the CU coaching staff is keeping things under their hats, but it's going to be hard to keep one of CU's highest-rated recruits off of the field (4%, 8 Votes)

CU receives commitments from offensive lineman Cooper Lovelace and linebacker Shaun Myers. Thoughts?
- Two of the areas of expressed needs from Coach Prime after spring ball was interior line and linebacker, and he picked up two with extensive playing experience ... In Coach Prime we trust (again) (58%, 79 Votes)
- Lovelace is a seven-year (yes, seven) senior with Power Four experience, and Myers is a former team captain in a position of need. Welcome! (28%, 38 Votes)
- Two players who went the JUCO route just to get into college. I know that CU is desperate to fill the roster with bodies, but it seems like we're scraping the bottom of the barrel here (14%, 19 Votes)

The best part about CU selling out its season tickets for the third consecutive year is ...
- That CU has sold out season tickets three years in a row, after not doing it once since 1996. With 12,000 student tickets, CU has 38,000 tickets sold even before single game tickets went on sale (48%, 48 Votes)
- That it shows that the Buff Nation continues to have faith in Coach Prime and his methods. Even without Shedeur and Travis, the Buffs are still a hot ticket (42%, 42 Votes)
- That CU was able to sell out its season tickets even with seven home games (more $$$ from season ticket holders), and despite not having a national power on the home slate (10%, 11 Votes)
Start Date: May 30, 2025 @ 7:48 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which of the newly announced kickoff times for CU games go you like the best?
- Delaware at Colorado - Saturday, September 6th, 1:30 p.m., MT, on Fox. A fresh fall afternoon at Folsom ... and a nationally televised game to boot! Can't ask for much more than that! (63%, 94 Votes)
- BYU at Colorado - Saturday, September 27th, 8:15 p.m., MT, ESPN. The kickoff time isn't great, but it's a national game (again!), and, if CU can get to the BYU undefeated, this could be a huge game (19%, 28 Votes)
- Colorado at Houston - Friday, September 12th, 5:00 p.m., MT, on ESPN. National coverage of CU for a (winnable) Big 12 conference opener. And it doesn't hurt that it's at night in steamy Houston (18%, 28 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
