Woman sues BYU starting quarterback Jake Retzlaff alleging rape. Thoughts?
- All I know is that if this happened to a CU quarterback, this would be a major sports story. If this happened to Shedeur Sanders, this would be a major national story (45%, 46 Votes)
- These are allegations, and a civil suit, not a criminal investigation. Innocent until proven guilty, so move on. Until there is new information, this is a non-story (30%, 31 Votes)
- We'll see how seriously BYU takes this. What's more important, BYU, taking allegations seriously, or protecting your starting quarterback who could lead your team to a title? (25%, 25 Votes)

College Football to move to a straight seeding model this fall. Thoughts?
- This will only be in effect for a year, before the CFP goes to 14 or 16 teams. Hard to get excited (or stressed) about a system which will be in place for all of one year (60%, 64 Votes)
- Lousy news ... if you are fan of any Big 12, ACC, or Group of Five schools. The Big Ten and SEC, which already have huge monetary advantages, will now get seeding advantages as well (21%, 23 Votes)
- Makes sense. Giving conference winners an extra advantage didn't make much sense last year ... and none of the conference winners who got a bye won their first game. (19%, 20 Votes)

Coach Prime rated as the No. 33 head coach in the Power Four (7th in the Big 12). Thoughts?
- As a college football fan, I'm just trying to get through May in one piece. I'd like to get to stories about summer workouts, and ditch all of these lists which have little or no actual value (49%, 58 Votes)
- Probably okay with the No. 33 overall ranking, but 7th in the Big 12? Offer the fans in the rest of the conference their coach v. Coach Prime, I'm guessing all but 2 or 3 fan bases would take Prime (41%, 48 Votes)
- Nice. Considering CBS had Coach Prime ranked 61st out of 68 Power Four coaches, this is significant recognition of how far CU (and Coach Prime) have come in the eyes of the national media (10%, 12 Votes)

CU's 2025 schedule ranked as the third-most difficult in the Big 12. Thoughts?
- The biggest issues for CU are their own. Quarterback play, lack of running backs and linebackers ... If the Buffs can figure out their own roster, they'll be fine, regardless of opponents faced (59%, 73 Votes)
- Agree. Georgia Tech is a tough non-conference game, and the Buffs face league favorites BYU, Arizona State, Kansas State and Iowa State. It's a tough road, and the Buffs have their work cut out (35%, 43 Votes)
- Disagree. CU has seven home games for the first time since 1982, including non-conference layups against Delaware and Wyoming. The Big 12 has parity, and CU has the chance of getting nine wins again (6%, 8 Votes)

Rate the Big 12's chances of having two College Football Playoff teams in 2025
- Medium. The chance is there, but it will depend on the other conferences doing what the Big 12 did last year, and cannibalize themselves, knocking each other out of contention (51%, 59 Votes)
- Low. We don't live in a world where the Big 12 is going to have a 2nd entrant in the CFP. In order to get an at large bid, you have to have a reputation as a blue blood - the Big 12 doesn't have any (37%, 42 Votes)
- High. As the CBS article points out, there are a number of nine- and ten-win teams returning, with many having returning or quality new quarterbacks. I like the Big 12's chances (12%, 14 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
