The Wisconsin/Nebraska game has been canceled due to positive tests on the Badger roster (and coaches). Thoughts?
- I'm just sorry that we won't get to hear Scott Frost try and explain how his team managed to lose, at home, to a fourth-string Wisconsin quarterback (50%, 134 Votes)
- This really shouldn't surprise anyone. Every conference which has started play has had games canceled or postponed ... it will happen with the Pac-12 as well (33%, 88 Votes)
- Just a reminder of how short-sighted the Big Ten - and Pac-12 - were in setting up their season. By starting so late, there are no options for re-scheduling, which is a shame for the players and fans (17%, 44 Votes)

Which of the following Karl Dorrell quotes from Tuesday's practice has you the most excited about the UCLA game?
- On the starting offensive line: "Those guys have been working really, really well together. That’s really the group we’re looking at right now" (55%, 109 Votes)
- On playing freshmen without losing a year of eligibility: "It is an opportune time to get the depth of your program a chance to get some game reps and build off that for their future" (38%, 75 Votes)
- On preparing for UCLA: “We’re still working on tailoring our offense and defense to our people. In doing that, we’re still making the (game prep) introductions" (7%, 13 Votes)

The kickoff time for CU's game v. UCLA has been set (5:00 p.m., MT, ESPN2). Thoughts?
- I like it. A nationally televised game which will kick off before everyone on the east coast has gone to bed - works for me! (72%, 182 Votes)
- All I know is that none of CU's first six games will be shown on the Pac-12 Networks. The Buffs (and the other conference teams) are already better off (21%, 54 Votes)
- Since no gets to go to the game, it doesn't really matter to me when they kickoff. I'm just glad/upset that the weather forecast calls for a high in the 50's next Saturday (7%, 17 Votes)
Start Date: October 26, 2020 @ 5:06 pm

Rate your confidence in the 2020 Colorado defense ...
- Medium. It's good that there are a number of starters back, and that there is some continuity, but a lack of experience in the defensive backfield is worrisome (56%, 158 Votes)
- High. Seven returning starters, including all of the defensive line. The defense started playing much better last November, and that will continue this November (28%, 78 Votes)
- Low. This unit was 96th in scoring defense last year; 104 in total defense. Until or unless they prove otherwise, this side of the ball is a liability (16%, 45 Votes)
Start Date: October 25, 2020 @ 5:26 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Antonio Alfano reveals that the medical condition preventing him from playing is epilepsy. Thoughts?
- Hope it all works out well for him and the Buffs. Glad the academic issues are being dealt with, and that there is a future for Alfano playing for the black-and-gold - hang in there, young man! (58%, 163 Votes)
- Sorry to hear about his medical condition. Glad that he has one of the best medical facilities in the country to help him through it. (29%, 81 Votes)
- Honestly, my first thought was that this was typical for CU. It's another Darrell Scott/Marcus Houston/Craig Ochs/Lynn Katoa nightmare. Fingers crossed ... but I'm not very hopeful (13%, 38 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
