Which news item from Sunday to you was the most interesting?
- That the CU game against USC was set for 1:30 p.m., MT, and will be nationally broadcast by ABC. The Buffs have an opportunity for a big time win on a large national stage ... fingers crossed (80%, 247 Votes)
- That USC was installed as an 11-point favorite. Yes, the Trojans are 3-0, but they could well be 1-2. I guess we'll have to see if the Buffs can prove that the Trojans are overrated (13%, 40 Votes)
- That the Apple Cup between Washington and Washington State has already been called off. With new non-conference criteria in place, is Washington v. BYU a possibility? (7%, 23 Votes)

Which of the following Pac-12 results to you was the most interesting?
- Oregon holds on to beat UCLA. Not sure if it means that CU beat a pretty good UCLA team (which also routed Cal), or that Oregon is not a playoff worthy team (despite being 3-0) (68%, 165 Votes)
- Washington routs Arizona. Perhaps the Huskies are actually the best team in the Pac-12 ... or Arizona showed its true colors in Game Two (after almost beating USC in Game One) (14%, 33 Votes)
- USC holds off Utah. Was it Utah having to play a backup quarterback that made the Trojan defense look so good, or is USC rounding into form? (14%, 33 Votes)
- Oregon State rallying to defeat Cal. The Beavers are feisty, but it is a surprise that Cal - which was supposed to challenge for the Pac-12 North - is now 0-2 (4%, 11 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from a three-star offensive lineman, Edgar Amaya. Thoughts?
- Nice that CU finally got its second commitment from an offensive lineman - always a position of need. Hopefully, the good play of the team this fall will encourage more quality commitments (62%, 178 Votes)
- A great pickup. A 6'3", 300-pounder from Alabama - where they eat and breathe football. Excited about this commitment (and glad he's already 300 pounds, and not a 250-pound project) (26%, 74 Votes)
- Well, this was a Kansas commit for the past few months, and Amaya only had a few other Power Five offers. Fingers crossed that he stays committed to CU, but not super impressed (12%, 33 Votes)

The Pac-12 establishes standards for non-conference games, but not in time for CU to pick up a qualified non-conference opponent. Thoughts?
- Not troubled by this at all. CU now has a bye week to get healthy and prepare for USC. A win over the Trojans = first place in the South, and a bowl berth. That's more important than a win over CSU (62%, 206 Votes)
- Typical for the Pac-12. The conference finally got its act together to allow for non-conference games, but not in time for CU to take advantage. If USC or Oregon needed a game - it would happen (33%, 110 Votes)
- This just shows a lack of leadership/energy/power on the part of Rick George. The opportunity for a rivalry game was right there, and George should have made it a reality (5%, 17 Votes)

Buffs lose a commitment from the nation's top rated kicker, Joshua Bryan. Thoughts?
- I don't like losing recruits to the likes of Notre Dame, but this does free up a scholarship for the Class of 2021. Let's see who the Buffs come up with as a replacement before worrying too much (43%, 147 Votes)
- Not a huge loss. Evan Price is only a sophomore (and will be a sophomore again in 2021), so the Buffs are in good shape for the near future (37%, 126 Votes)
- A real tough loss. If you have a great kicker (like a Mason Crosby) they can be a game changer. Sorry to see the Buffs get beat out by Notre Dame for Mr. Bryan's services (20%, 70 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
