CU's commitment No. 10 comes from three-star wide receiver Isaiah Hardge. Thoughts?
  • Now this is more like it! Multiple offers from the SEC, ACC and Big Ten. Well done, coach McGeohan, for this quality commit! (69%, 163 Votes)
  • An early recruit from the state of Florida, with multiple offers? Hate to be contrarian, but is very CU fan-like to already be worried that CU will lose this recruit before Signing Day? (22%, 52 Votes)
  • I definitely like this recruit, but I'm still wondering why CU is loading up on freshmen, while the rest of the country is loading up on former starters in the Transfer Portal (9%, 20 Votes)

  • "The room, we have a lot of fun. You know in a room of coaches when it feels right ... We are working together as one and it comes across through the players" (16%, 31 Votes)

Washington State boosters put together a $90,000 package to lure an Incarnate Word quarterback to Pullman. Thoughts?
  • The whole idea is sad/sickening. I can't believe that this won't come back to bite schools and players in the future. No good can come of this, and I hope it comes to an end sooner rather than later (67%, 122 Votes)
  • Well, if that's the going rate, CU boosters had better figure out a way to get a collective in place ... or be satisfied with trying to develop two- and three-star prospects at QB (22%, 40 Votes)
  • This is what NIL was supposed to be, with players taking advantage of their Name, Image and Likeness. Good for the QB, and good for the players across the country cashing in (11%, 21 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
