Buffs fall to No. 2 Arizona, 82-72, in the Pac-12 semi-finals. Thoughts?
- It was a tough ask to beat the No. 2 team in the nation twice in two weeks. Disappointed, but no one can say they are surprised. CU is the fourth-best team in the Pac-12, which isn't bad (64%, 130 Votes)
- At least with the win over Oregon, the Buffs should be a lock to get at least one NIT home game - a much better way for Evan Battey to go out than with the tough game he had against Arizona (25%, 51 Votes)
- Buffs and their fans are going to look back at this one as one which got away. You can miss that many opportunities against a quality opponent and expect to win. Woulda, coulda shoulda (11%, 21 Votes)

Buffs defeat Oregon, 80-69, to advance to semi-finals matchup against No. 2 in the Pac-12 tournament. Thoughts?
- I'm just enjoying how the past month has played out. The men's team has won eight of their last nine; the women's team has won six of their last seven. Well done, Buffs! (52%, 152 Votes)
- A great team win. Knocking the Ducks out of the Pac-12 tournament (and the NCAA tournament) feels good. The Buffs have what it takes to pull off another upset against Arizona - Go Buffs! (38%, 113 Votes)
- Enjoy it while it lasts. Up next is No. 2 Arizona (Friday, 7:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). A real shame that Stanford didn't pull off the upset, because the Wildcats will be ready for revenge (10%, 29 Votes)

Buffs to take on 5th-seeded Oregon in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals (Thursday, 3:30 p.m., MT). Thoughts?
- Buffs have been on a roll lately, while the Ducks have been struggling. Without leading scorer Will Richardson, Oregon is vulnerable. Buffs advance to the semi-finals! (39%, 88 Votes)
- If the Stanford/Arizona State game taught us anything (a 16-1 run in the final three minutes to take out the Sun Devils, 71-70), there are no guarantees once you hit tournament play. Fingers crossed (37%, 83 Votes)
- Dana Altman has the best winning percentage in Pac-12 tournament history for a reason. Wounded Ducks are dangerous ... and still very talented. I'm very concerned about this game (24%, 54 Votes)

Bracketology has CU with a No. 3 seed in the NIT. Thoughts on playing in the NIT, with potential home games?
- Let's cross that bridge when we get there. For now, the Buffs are the No. 4 seed, and have a real chance at a Pac-12 title. Fingers crossed for Pac-12 title No. 2 (70%, 171 Votes)
- Actually, I think that with this young team, a home game or two in the NIT wouldn't be a bad springboard for the 2022-23 season (not to mention more standing O's for the seniors) (24%, 59 Votes)
- Nope. Not going there. Evan Battey said in his interview that the team wasn't all that excited to play in the NIT before, and I doubt they will be interested this year (6%, 16 Votes)

Which team will give the Buffs their next loss?
- Arizona in the semifinals. The Buffs have enough momentum to take out the struggling Ducks, but the Wildcats will be primed for revenge, and will take out the Buffs in the semis (59%, 136 Votes)
- In the NCAA tournament. The Buffs are on a roll, and every other team in the Pac-12 has issues. Not saying how deep the Buffs will go in the Big Dance, but I wouldn't be surprised if they get there (25%, 57 Votes)
- Oregon in the quarterfinals. The Ducks will get their act together and take out Oregon State in the first round, and have the talent to defeat the Buffs in Round 2 (8%, 19 Votes)
- USC or UCLA in the finals. If the Buffs can find a way to their second straight upset of the No. 2 team in the country, they won't have the energy to pull off another upset in the finals (8%, 17 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
