Buffs finish fourth in the Paradise Jam tournament after 54-52 win over Brown. Thoughts?
- As Coach Boyle said, we had better get used to it, as this is a young team still finding its way. If CU is going to have multiple final possession games, I'm glad the Buffs are finding ways to win (62%, 135 Votes)
- The Buffs will be facing No. 2 UCLA on the road on December 1st. I don't know which is scarier: the football team at Utah or the basketball team at UCLA ... Afraid two blowouts are looming (27%, 59 Votes)
- Had the Buffs won their first game (against Southern Illinois), they would have been on track to face CSU in the championship game ... Probably good (bragging rights-wise) that CU avoided CSU (11%, 24 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 24.0-point underdog to Utah. Thoughts?
- Umm ... CU has no offense, and Utah just beat Oregon, 38-7. Lock the doors and hide the children ... this is going to be a huge rout (70%, 219 Votes)
- Utah is in between two games against Oregon. The Utes have already clinched a Pac-12 South division title. The Utes will win, but it be closer than 24 points (22%, 69 Votes)
- I'm just upset that Arizona - ARIZONA - is a closer bet (21.0-point road underdog to Arizona State) than CU is to Utah. Now THAT is embarassing (8%, 27 Votes)

Colorado 20, Washington 17. Thoughts?
- A grand total of 183 yards of offense - with 138 of those on the field goal drive and the last touchdown drive? If Darrin Chiaverini is still the OC in ten days, there needs to be an investigation (46%, 170 Votes)
- The Buffalo Heart Award is given out at the last home game. There were a number of Buffs who deserved that today. They didn't give up, and were rewarded with a final home game win (34%, 126 Votes)
- An important win. The CU defense came to play, and gave the offense a chance to win the game at the end. The defense - if nothing else, has something to build on for 2022! (20%, 76 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado v. Washington (1:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks)
- I actually feel pretty good about this one. Washington is on the ropes, and it's Senior Day. Motivated by Nate Landman's return, the Buffs take down the Huskies! (47%, 85 Votes)
- I have serious doubts about this one. Washington players will be unified after the firing of their coach, and still have a bowl bid to play for. CU's descent into oblivion continues (30%, 54 Votes)
- A game between two teams with lousy offenses and a downward spiral of a season. It will be close, but Buffs find a way to lose while beating the seven-point spread (23%, 43 Votes)
Start Date: November 19, 2021 @ 5:23 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Which of the current Pac-12 coaches would be the best fit as the Washington coach?
- Cal's Justin Wilcox ... A former Washington defensive coordinator, Wilcox could be tired of all of the issues (COVID, financial) facing coaches at Cal. He may be looking for a fresh start (45%, 76 Votes)
- Oregon State's Jonathan Smith ... A former Washington offensive coordinator, Smith, like Wilcox, would have much greater resources to work with in Seattle than he has in Corvallis (41%, 69 Votes)
- UCLA's Chip Kelly ... It could be a mutually beneficial parting with UCLA. Kelly hasn't set the world on fire in Westwood, and would be welcomed by the Husky Nation (if only to try and beat Oregon) (14%, 25 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
