ASU President Michael Crow defends head coach Herm Edwards: "These are not things he was a part of". Thoughts?
- Multiple sources have put Edwards at the heart of the recruiting scandal (how could he not have known?), ASU is defending Herm. I hope the NCAA gets this one right and comes down hard on ASU (53%, 98 Votes)
- I'm actually glad that they are sticking with Herm. He hasn't been going great guns, and with transfers and lousy recruiting, he's burning the program to the ground without any NCAA help (24%, 45 Votes)
- Just goes to show that the NCAA has no teeth. No one fears repercussions, so no one obeys the rules ... oh, except for CU. ASU won eight games last year; CU lost eight games - who has it right? (23%, 43 Votes)

What revelation from the Terrance Lang interview gives you the most optimism for the 2022 season?
- That there was about an 85% turnout for last Saturday's voluntary workouts. The players who are sticking with Karl Dorrell appear to be buying in, and are bonding as a unit (51%, 100 Votes)
- That Lang is echoing what we have heard from other players, namely that they believe Year Two with strength and conditioning coach Shannon Turley is making a real difference with the team (31%, 61 Votes)
- That defensive coordinator Chris Wilson and new defensive line coach Vic So'oto are not only on the same page, but that the defensive line is responding positively (18%, 37 Votes)

Colorado is 18-9, 10-7, and is 5th in the Pac-12 standings. Should CU be considered to be a "bubble" team for the NCAA tournament?
- Probably not. CU is 0-5 against ranked opponents, and has a NET ranking of 81. Beat ASU and No. 2 Arizona, and we'll talk, but CU is not their yet (45%, 123 Votes)
- Hard to tell, but it's great CU is in the conversation in late February with a young team which has been hit hard by injuries. The Buffs have already over-achieved this year (32%, 86 Votes)
- Yes! The Buffs are on a five-game winning streak, with three of those wins coming on the road. If Oregon (17-10, 10-6) is a bubble team, so is CU (23%, 63 Votes)

Which quote from new wide receivers coach Phil McGeoghan most resonates with you?
- On his WR's: "I think the guys that you would reach out to that have been successful … would say I’ve cared more about them as people than I did about those big numbers that they put up" (39%, 68 Votes)
- On not coaching in 2021: “I was separated from my son for eight months. He was living in Florida, I was in California and we had strict bubble protocols. I felt like I was losing ground as a father" (32%, 56 Votes)
- On Karl Dorrell: “I believe the first thing that’s very important in this profession is trust and loyalty. I trust coach and he trusts me. I'm loyal to him and he's loyal to me" (29%, 49 Votes)

NCAA announces review of NIL policies "to preserve the positive aspects of the new policy while reviewing whether anything can be done to mitigate the negative ones". Thoughts?
- This is a joke, right? After A&M buys the No. 1 recruiting class, and after Texas agrees to pay its offensive lineman $50K for charity work, the NCAA is going to "look into it"? Sham/shame (60%, 130 Votes)
- Better late to the party than to never come at all. This is what Rick George was talking about. If there is going to be any competitive balance, there needs to be leadership at the top (21%, 45 Votes)
- What bothers me most is that CU is going to do NIL "the right way" ... with the "right way" leading to lost athletes to transfer and more losing seasons (19%, 40 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
