Three weeks out from CU v. TCU (Friday, September 2nd, 8:00 p.m., MT, ESPN). Are you sipping the CU Kool-Aid for the 2022 season?
- Depends, of course. If you are talking about CU being better than 129th in total offense - yes. If you are talking about CU having a winning season - that's a more difficult question (43%, 92 Votes)
- No. It's not that I don't want to believe, but I am having a hard time believing. CU's roster lost more than it gained, and no one outside of the Champions Center is singing Mike Sanford's praises (31%, 65 Votes)
- Yes. The college football world doesn't understand how big it was to get a new offensive coordinator, have competition at quarterback, and a fresh start. CU will not dominate, but will compete (26%, 55 Votes)

NCAA investigation of allegations against Arizona State "moving in deliberate fashion". Thoughts?
- I'm actually not minding this. ASU has two returning starters on offense; three on defense; and the lowest rated recruiting Class. Let them drag it out ... it's killing the program (38%, 81 Votes)
- Not super interested, except to see if Herm Edwards is still coach when ASU comes to CU in late October. Buffs need that game to be a "W" - that's all I know or care about ASU right now (35%, 74 Votes)
- "I don’t believe they’ve even interviewed our remaining coaches yet”. What a joke. The NCAA has destroyed college football with its ineptitude (27%, 59 Votes)

A month from today, CU will venture down I-25 to Colorado Springs to play Air Force. What are your plans for the game?
- I'll be watching the game on TV. It's a national CBS game (somewhat scary, now that I think about it). I'll be cheering on my Buffs from the comfort of home (70%, 175 Votes)
- I am going to the game! CU's first trip south to play the Zoomies in some 50 years! I'm excited to watch the Buffs on the road! (22%, 56 Votes)
- I may not be watching. I don't know if I will have other plans, or just won't want to watch the game (it could be an unfortunate loss). We'll see ... but I may just have to check the results later (8%, 20 Votes)
Start Date: August 10, 2022 @ 4:31 pm

Reports are that CBS (1:30 p.m., MT games) and NBC (5:30 p.m., MT) will join Fox ("Big Noon" - 10 a.m., MT) in the Big Ten media contract, ending ESPN's relationship. Thoughts?
- Just more noise. The real issue is whether the Pac-12 can stay together (and I'm not betting on that). Wake me when the dust settles, and we'll talk again then (48%, 105 Votes)
- Really some good news for the Pac-12 for a change. ESPN has the SEC, but won't want to walk away from the western half of the nation, giving the Pac-12 some leverage (and some extra dollars) (35%, 76 Votes)
- Not necessarily good news for the Pac-12. ESPN may be out of the Big Ten, but who will bid against ESPN for the Pac-12? If ESPN has no competition, the Pac-12 may still be low-balled (17%, 38 Votes)
Start Date: August 9, 2022 @ 4:32 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Preseason Coaches Poll is out, with three Pac-12 teams listed in the Top 25 (and seven of CU's opponents this fall receiving votes). Thoughts?
- Just another sign of how the deep the chasm in college football has gotten. Oregon is considered to be the No. 12 team in the country ... and is an 18-point underdog to No. 3 Georgia. Yikes! (42%, 68 Votes)
- Pretty consistent with all of the other preseason polls. Plenty of love for Utah (No. 8), but perhaps too much love for a 4-8 team (USC, No. 15). And a No. 1 vote for 5-7 Texas? Whatever ... (36%, 59 Votes)
- Well, if CU loses to teams considered Top 25 vote worthy, and defeats the other five on the schedule which didn't merit a vote, the Buffs would finish 5-7 ... sounds about right (22%, 36 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
