A group of Pac-12 players threaten to sit out 2020 season unless demands are met. Thoughts?
- Like any negotiation, you start high and settle somewhere in the middle. I'm just hopeful that calmer heads prevail. There are enough obstacles in the way of playing football - we don't need more (48%, 118 Votes)
- You're kidding, right? A 50/50 split of revenue, and a total of 12 years of medical coverage? I guess a free education and better medical care than 90% of the population isn't good enough anymore. (47%, 115 Votes)
- Just like the Name, Image and Likeness debate has gone the players' way, this will be an extension of players' rights. They won't get everything, but they'll get most of what they are asking for (5%, 14 Votes)

It's August! Rate the chances of CU traveling to Eugene to face Oregon in its Pac-12 opener on September 26th
- Poor. California schools aren't cleared to even practice, much less play. And now the players are threatening a boycott? Sorry, but I'm not seeing football this fall (51%, 122 Votes)
- Medium. There are still a number of hurdles to be cleared, but the Pac-12 seems to be taking all of the necessary steps to make football a reality this fall (40%, 96 Votes)
- High. It's almost two months before the start of the season, so there is time to work things out. Athletic departments need football to be played ... and it will (9%, 23 Votes)

The Pac-12 has announced its revised schedule, with CU adding Oregon State, and traveling to Oregon. Thoughts?
- Assuming that there will be few, if any fans, starting on the road early may not hurt as much as finishing the season with winnable games will help. Fingers crossed! (50%, 96 Votes)
- Are you freakin' kidding me? Opening against Oregon and Utah? Three of the first games on the road? Thanks for nothing, Pac-12 (34%, 65 Votes)
- I like it. The Oregon game was likely a loss anyway, so moving it to Eugene isn't a net loss. Picking up a home game against Oregon State, meanwhile, is a good chance at a win (16%, 32 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from three-star defensive back Kaylin Moore. Thoughts?
- I like that CU is addressing an area of need (now with four defensive back recruits), and finally has a California recruit on the commitment list (42%, 82 Votes)
- I like that CU picked up a two-way (WR and DB) star who wants to be on an island at cornerback. I like his measurables ... and his attitude (38%, 73 Votes)
- A bump up in terms of offers (three other Pac-12 schools), but I'm still waiting for these ace recruiters to bring in the big fish ... and it isn't really happening (20%, 38 Votes)
Start Date: July 30, 2020 @ 5:21 pm

Which of the headlines Wednesday to you was the most eyebrow raising?
- That the ACC has announced an 11-game schedule with ten conference games ... with Notre Dame playing the 2020 season as a full-fledged ACC member (47%, 89 Votes)
- Revamped Pac-12 schedule might move CU's game against rival Utah from the end of the season to the beginning (30%, 56 Votes)
- NFL Buffs: Nate Solder sitting out the season; Tedric Thompson moving on from the Seahawks; Arlington Hambright signs a $3.3 million rookie contract (23%, 43 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
