Which quirky 2021 NFL Draft fact do you find to be the most interesting/surprising?
- That for the first time since the draft began, Michigan State failed to produce a single drafted player (way to coach 'em up, Mel!) (70%, 146 Votes)
- That the state of Colorado is most populous state in the country without a single draft pick (out of the 12 states which failed to produce a drafted player) (21%, 44 Votes)
- That the Missouri Valley Conference - an FCS conference - had more draft picks (4) than did the FBS Mountain West Conference (3) (9%, 20 Votes)

Two offensive linemen - Valentin Senn and Nikko Pohahau - enter transfer portal. Thoughts?
- It's a tough business, but the reality is that CU has to cut down on its scholarship total, and these two players were in Boulder for two seasons without ever seeing the field of play (65%, 202 Votes)
- Nothing against the young men, but these were two of the lowest rated recruits from Class of 2019. If attrition is to come, it's likely going to come from the lowest rated recruits (22%, 69 Votes)
- So ... CU didn't have enough offensive linemen to conduct a full scrimmage, and is now down two more? Unless there are some offensive line transfers coming this spring/summer, CU could be in trouble (13%, 41 Votes)

Will Sherman is drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round (197th overall). Thoughts?
- Congratulations, Mr. Sherman! He apparently made the right decision in going to the NFL early. Way to represent the Buffs! (54%, 133 Votes)
- I just like the fact that Sherman kept CU's streak of underclassmen being drafted (11-for-11), and that CU has had at least one player drafted in each of the past five seasons (30%, 74 Votes)
- One Buff drafted? It would be nice to say that CU is becoming more relevant on the national stage, but there doesn't seem to be much objective evidence that this is the case (16%, 39 Votes)

What was your favorite takeaway from the CU Spring Showcase?
- That there were no injuries (assuming Dimitri Stanley's run in with the wall wasn't serious), and no reports of major injuries all spring (51%, 96 Votes)
- That the quarterbacks completed 78% of their passes, with both J.T. Shrout and Brendon Lewis having their moments (36%, 68 Votes)
- That there were good showings by the running backs and wide receivers (and even the tight ends!). Good depth at the skill positions, which is a good way to end the spring (8%, 15 Votes)
- That there was good play from the linebackers, with Jonathan Van Diest and Joska Gustav having good games (5%, 8 Votes)

What are you looking for (hoping to see) most out of the CU Spring Showcase?
- Whether J.T. Shrout or Brendon Lewis can show some separation in the race as the primary challenger to Sam Noyer heading into Fall Camp (47%, 107 Votes)
- Actually, I would be happy if there are no reports of any serious injuries. Glad CU got in their 15 practices. Can't wait for August and the start of Fall Camp (45%, 103 Votes)
- Whether there is a defensive lineman who can step up and show they can fill Mustafa Johnson's shoes (4%, 10 Votes)
- Whether there are any standouts in the deep fields at running back and wide receiver (2%, 5 Votes)
- Whether there is a linebacker not named Carson Wells who can show that they are ready to play alongside Wells and Nate Landman (2%, 5 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
