Which factoid of the week to you is the most notable?
- That the receivers covered by Travis Hunter have only been targeted six times in the first two games of the season, with only 21 yards surrendered (48%, 74 Votes)
- That with the Baylor game to be televised by Fox, CU will have games on all four major college football networks (ESPN, NBC, CBS Fox) in one season ... and the Buffs have pulled it off in four games (34%, 53 Votes)
- That the CU/Nebraska game had an audience of 6.3 million. Entering the second season of Big Ten Saturdays, the Buff/Cornhusker game is the most watched of any Saturday night NBC game (18%, 27 Votes)

What to you is the most important problem CU needs to work on during CSU Week?
- The offensive line needs to get its act together. No rushing attack, while Shedeur is running for his life on passing plays. It can't be like last year ... it just can't (63%, 171 Votes)
- The CU game plan. If the CU offense continues to (unsuccessfully) run RPO's, and the defense (like last year) allows the shallow cross to Tory Horton, the Buffs could lose Saturday (34%, 92 Votes)
- The defense needs to decide to play in the first half. Six points allowed in the second half of two games ... but 48 in the first half. Come to play early, defense, or CU might lose this game (3%, 10 Votes)

The Homecoming game time has been set - CU v. Baylor, 6:00 p.m., MT, Fox. Thoughts?
- It's okay. Would still prefer to have a mid-afternoon start, but if the choices are 10:00 a.m., 6:00 p.m., or 8:30 p.m., I'll take the 6:00 p.m. kickoff every time (39%, 69 Votes)
- Did you notice that CU - for the first time in school history - will have games on ESPN, Fox, CBS and NBC in the same season? The Coach Prime may be turning some off ... but CU is still a draw (33%, 59 Votes)
- Love it! A fall evening for the White Out. Plenty of time for tailgating, but with the game finished before midnight. I'm in! (28%, 50 Votes)

Colorado opens as an 8.5-point favorite over Colorado State. Thoughts?
- Apparently no one in Vegas was watching the Nebraska game. This Buff team is in disarray, and the blueprint for beating CU is well known. Disrespect the run, sack Shedeur, and control the clock (43%, 105 Votes)
- Probably about right. This should be another typical Rocky Mountain Showdown ... the Buffs should win the game, but not before forcing the Buff Nation to stress out the victory (38%, 92 Votes)
- More a reflection that CSU is not really very good than about anything CU has done. Glad the Buffs have a weaker opponent to play this weekend - get a big win, Buffs! (19%, 48 Votes)
Start Date: September 8, 2024 @ 4:46 pm

Nebraska 28, Colorado 10. Thoughts?
- So, Coach Prime has had two chances to create an offensive line, and whiffed on both attempts. Guess we know how the rest of the season is going to turn out. Wonder if Shedeur will finish the season (41%, 122 Votes)
- As they say, the score is not indicative of the domination. The Buffs were down 14-0 ten minutes in, and never a threat the rest of the game. A complete beatdown and a complete embarrassment (33%, 100 Votes)
- It was 28-0 at half, with a 28-10 final. The defense gave up 21 points and only 334 yards of total offense. Not much to build on, but at least it wasn't a 56-0 final (26%, 77 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
