• The Buffs learned a great deal, and still picked up a "W". ND State proved to be a good first game opponent - tough, but the Buffs were able to start 1-0 and build from there (55%, 123 Votes)
• Unforced errors were kept to a minimum. Only three penalties (none on the offensive line); one (fluky) turnover. Discipline helped keep the Buffs in the game long enough for CU's talent to take over (24%, 54 Votes)
• CU's depth has dramatically improved. The Buffs had some injury issues, but the backups stepped up. Defensive line depth helped in the second half, with NDSU having a big edge in time of possession (21%, 47 Votes)

• Yes. CU has a very good offense, and good pieces on defense. There aren't too many games CU will not have a chance in, and the Buffs only need five more wins to get to a bowl (22%, 50 Votes)

• No such thing as a bad win. Hoping the Buffs build on the good and work on the bad ... two tough road rivalry games ahead. Still, 1-0 is 1-0 ... I'll take it (54%, 187 Votes)
