Should a high school senior graduating in December be allowed to play for the Pac-12/Big Ten in the spring?
- Yes. If they are capable of making a team as an eighteen year old (and, with the current rules, not burn a year of eligibility), then why not? (44%, 70 Votes)
- No. There are enough issues surrounding the 2020/21 season as it is. Worrying about a 17/18-year old being physically/mentally being able to play? They should nix that idea right from the start (34%, 53 Votes)
- They should ... but they won't be able to. Think the SEC/ACC/Big 12 will allow the Big Ten/Pac-12 to actually have an advantage on anything? Never gonna happen ... (22%, 35 Votes)

Which of the following potential spring schedules seems to you to be the most feasible?
- Brian Howell's proposal - Play six games: five division foes and one game against the North (CU would play the 5th place team from the North, Washington State) (51%, 78 Votes)
- Keep the 8-game (or perhaps 9-game) Pac-12 only schedule. Start as early as possible to preserve fall '21 season (perhaps another 8- or 9-game conference only season) (34%, 52 Votes)
- Three pods - Northwest; California; Mountain - with a round-robin (play a home-and-home with Arizona schools and Utah). Pod "champions" plus the team with the next best record play on (15%, 24 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from three-star in-state wide receiver, Ty Robinson. Thoughts?
- I like that this staff, even with all of the limitations this year has brought, is finding not only quality recruits, but in-state stars (to quiet critics that CU doesn't adequately recruit in-state) (52%, 116 Votes)
- What's not to like? An quality in-state prospect with Power-Five offers? Robinson checks all of the boxes (29%, 65 Votes)
- Nice to beat out Utah and Kansas State for a prospect, but with such a small Recruiting Class, is another receiver what CU should be looking for at this point? (19%, 40 Votes)

Which of my following Top Five games of the Past 40 years would you rate as Your No. 1?
- 2001: No. 14 Colorado 62, No. 2 Nebraska 36 - The game led to CU's only Big 12 title ... and gave the Husker Nation a loss from which it still hasn't recovered! (48%, 113 Votes)
- 1990: No. 1 Colorado 10, No. 5 Notre Dame 9 - How can you get any better than the game which gave CU its first national championship? (24%, 57 Votes)
- 1986: Colorado 20, No. 3 Nebraska 10 - First win over the Cornhuskers in 19 years sets the stage for national championship run (12%, 28 Votes)
- 1994: No. 7 Colorado 27, No. 4 Michigan 26 - The "Miracle at Michigan" is perhaps CU's best known victory - and a fantastic finish! (10%, 23 Votes)
- 1990: No. 9 Colorado 27, No. 3 Nebraska 12 - Buffs rally for four fourth-quarter touchdowns to earn trip to Orange Bowl (6%, 15 Votes)
Start Date: August 23, 2020 @ 5:29 pm

Which of the following defensive stars - who didn't make my Top 40 - would have made your list?
- Linebacker Jordon Dizon - 2004-07 ... Only the first true freshman in school history to start the first game of the season at inside linebacker (64%, 116 Votes)
- Defensive back Tedric Thompson - 2013-16 ... Led the magical defensive backfield in 2016 with seven interceptions; led team with 23 passes broken up (21%, 38 Votes)
- Defensive back/kick returner Terrence Wheatley - 2003-07 ... In his senior year, he was first-team All-Big 12 at cornerback; honorable mention as a kick returner (8%, 15 Votes)
- Defensive end Jimmie Gilbert - 2013-16 ... First defensive Buff to earn All-Pac-12 since CU joined the conference in 2011 (7%, 11 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
