CU spring transfer commitment No. 12 comes from Louisville defensive tackle Tawfig Thomas. Thoughts?
- Nice. A 6'4", 300-pound defensive lineman with Power Four experience. Coach Prime said he was going to prioritize the lines this off-season, and he has done just that. Welcome, Mr. Thomas! (40%, 71 Votes)
- I'm just glad to see that we have moved on from the spring exodus, and can now concentrate on the next 10-12 new Buffs who are going to be signed in the next few weeks (40%, 70 Votes)
- A few years at Louisville, but no real quality playing time. Nice to get more filler pieces for the depth chart, but that's about all we can expect from this commitment (20%, 35 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from 6'7", 325-pound offensive tackle Ethan Boyd from Michigan State. Thoughts?
- Looks like a good pickup. Has the size, started some games for a Power Four school, and has two years of eligibility remaining. What's not to like? You can never have enough quality offensive linemen (51%, 109 Votes)
- Appears to be a swap for Savion Washington, who had similar size and stats. Not to say that I agree with the CU critics, but the musical chairs CU's playing has to stop at some point (32%, 67 Votes)
- Boyd was only a part-time starter, yet still gave up two sacks, nine hurries and 13 quarterback pressures. Looks like a work in progress to me - with only two seasons of eligibility remaining (17%, 36 Votes)

Which story from the latest news cycle to you is the most worthy of your attention?
- That the Transfer Portal is finally closing for the spring (25 Buffs out), and now CU fans can enjoy the incoming transfer news (Welcome, Arkansas defensive back RJ Johnson!) (71%, 127 Votes)
- CU’s 2024 schedule ranked 13th-most difficult in the nation (4th in the Big 12) by College Football News. Still tough, but at least not as bad as last season, when CU's schedule was the 2nd-toughest (20%, 36 Votes)
- CBS Sports: “Deion Sanders, Colorado facing another roster overhaul after losing 61% of 2023 class”. Nice to know The Athletic's article still isn't going away, and the haters are still out there (9%, 15 Votes)
Start Date: May 1, 2024 @ 4:40 pm

Which of the following Jimmy Horn quotes do you like the best?
- Either one is fine ... I'm just glad that the story from the Camera wasn't about Horn entering the Transfer Portal. We've had plenty of players leaving - glad we can now start moving forward (62%, 96 Votes)
- “Last year, it was an all right year for me. I could do way better than what I did. I just hold myself to a higher standard, but I really didn’t complete what I wanted to do" (21%, 33 Votes)
- "No hatred in our receiving room because at the end of the day we’re a team and I’ve got a good chemistry with some of the players that already came in. It’s just competition at the end of the day" (17%, 27 Votes)
Start Date: April 30, 2024 @ 4:51 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Starting defensive back Omarion Cooper enters the Transfer Portal. Thoughts?
- I'm just glad that the Transfer Portal will be closing in the next few days. I can't wait for CU to have its base of players, so we can sort out strengths and weaknesses on the '24 roster (60%, 158 Votes)
- Not a significant loss. Cooper was already running with the second team during the spring game, and there are more quality defensive backs coming in this summer (23%, 61 Votes)
- A big loss. Cooper started eight games last season. I get that he may be losing playing time to incoming transfers, but Coach Prime has to start retaining quality depth players (17%, 44 Votes)
Start Date: April 29, 2024 @ 4:21 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
