CU again leads the nation with 41 transfers leaving ... with three schools right behind with 39. Thoughts?
- I'm interested to see that seven Big 12 teams had at least 25 transfers leave. Perhaps CU's fluid roster isn't quite as much of a problem as we have been led to believe (50%, 87 Votes)
- Just goes to show that the national media will always choose to focus on the negative when it comes to CU. Anyone writing negative stories about Alabama, Michigan State, or Indiana? Thought not (30%, 53 Votes)
- The other schools which are close to CU in lost players all had head coaching turnovers. Coach Prime needs to spend more time on retention and development, and less on turnover (20%, 35 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from three-star defensive back Savion Riley from Vanderbilt/Miami. Thoughts?
- I like this. It's slim pickings in the Transfer Portal now, so getting a Power Four defensive back - a position of need - is a nice present for mid-May (39%, 73 Votes)
- Looks like CU is up to 79 scholarships, so the team is pretty much in place for the season. Guess it's time to start doing deep dives on the depth chart, and see where Mr. Riley will fit in (34%, 63 Votes)
- Perhaps a good depth piece, but Riley wasn't highly sought after out of high school, and was a rotational player for Vanderbilt. Perhaps a development piece, which CU does need (27%, 52 Votes)

Report: UC Regents to require UCLA give Cal $50-$60 million for leaving the Pac-12 for the Big Ten. Thoughts?
- More reason to believe that UCLA will soon become an afterthought in the Big Ten. Chip Kelly is gone, the program has no positive momentum, and now some big checks to write. Bruins are going to spiral (44%, 62 Votes)
- Doesn't make much sense now, considering how things turned out. Cal and Stanford bailed to the ACC, leaving WSU and OSU behind. No penalties for the Bears? (31%, 44 Votes)
- I like it. I just wish that there was a way for USC to also have to pay a penalty (not to mention Washington and Oregon giving up some of its Big Ten money to WSU and OSU) (25%, 34 Votes)

CBS Sports Big 12 Post-Spring Power Rankings has CU in at No. 11. Thoughts?
- Buckle up, Buff fans. It's going to be a long few months, with preseason magazine after preseason magazine predicting a bottom half finish for the Buffs (43%, 88 Votes)
- Way too low. I know that the national media narrative is that CU has just replaced one set of mediocre transfers with another, but that's not objectively true. Buffs in the Top Five of the Big 12! (31%, 63 Votes)
- Probably about right, if we're being honest. The Buffs are coming off of a 4-8 season, and has a great deal to prove before they can expect better rankings (26%, 52 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from linebacker Johnny Chaney from Florida A&M. Thoughts?
- I like seeing how Coach Prime and the coaching staff have been targeting needs. First the offensive line, then the defensive line, now the linebackers. Lineup keeps getting better and better every day (51%, 98 Votes)
- An FCS linebacker with no FBS offers out of high school or as a transfer. Chaney helps fill a position of need, but Mr. Chaney sounds like a backup at best (34%, 66 Votes)
- This is what we've looking for ... CU's weakest unit coming out of the spring was the inside linebacker room, and CU has picked up two good backers since then. Well done, coaches! (15%, 30 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
