CU picks up a commitment from running back transfer Isaiah Augustave. Thoughts?
- A great pickup. A former four-star prospect who played last season in the SEC (Arkansas). Nice bounce back after losing Rashad Amos a week ago to Ole Miss (46%, 90 Votes)
- I'm just glad that the coaching staff has been very good this off-season at identifying areas of need and addressing them. Lose a running back, pick up a replacement. Well done, coaches! (39%, 76 Votes)
- Nice to get another body in the running backs room, but if we're comparing apples to apples, Amos was listed as the No. 194 overall transfer; Augustave is listed at No. 680 (15%, 30 Votes)

ESPN's Bill Connelly has CU as the No. 69 team in the nation in his SP+ rankings. Thoughts?
- Useless. By his own admission, it's difficult to for Connelly to compute his rankings with such a large turnover in the roster. Disregard these numbers and move on (61%, 100 Votes)
- I'm going with the glass half full approach. CU was ranked 103rd in Connelly's 2023 post-spring SP+ rankings. No. 69 is actually a pretty significant step up. Accept it and move on (31%, 51 Votes)
- The only downside I can see is that other Preseason prognosticators put a lot of weight on Connelly's rankings, which will just make it easier for the Preseason magazines to downgrade CU (8%, 14 Votes)

Former Arizona State quarterback Jaden Rashada suing University of Florida for unpaid NIL promises. Thoughts?
- Just the tip of the iceberg, I'm afraid. With a toothless NCAA, there are no rules to govern the transfer and payment of players. Florida and Rashada deserve one another (60%, 121 Votes)
- No sympathy here. Rashada's loyalty followed the dollar, and he left Florida for dollars at Arizona State (and now Georgia). How much NIL money does a part-time (four games in 2023) QB deserve? (27%, 55 Votes)
- Makes sense. Florida promised Rashada the moon and the stars to flip his commitment from Miami, and then didn't deliver. The Gators should be held accountable for their breach of contract (13%, 26 Votes)

CU sells out season tickets for the second consecutive year. Thoughts?
- Great news! It shows that the Buff Nation is still on board with Coach Prime (only the 10th time in school history that CU has sold out season tickets). Well done, Buff Nation! (69%, 128 Votes)
- Good news, especially when you consider the lineup of opponents. Nebraska, CSU and USC replaced by North Dakota State, Baylor and Kansas State - not exactly great draws (20%, 37 Votes)
- We'll see if these games turn into actual sell outs. There are plenty of single game tickets (going on sale Tuesday). Let's see if there is pent up demand in the general public for CU (11%, 21 Votes)

A settlement on the House case might be made public this week. Rate your interest in the story
- Low. There are still so many moving pieces, that any leaks about a settlement are premature at best. Call me when the dust settles ... in another year or two (48%, 55 Votes)
- Medium. A $2.7 billion settlement? A $20-$30 million buyout per school every year for ten years? Employed athletes? Important, but still so much to sort out (32%, 36 Votes)
- High. It's not an exaggeration to say that the future of college football hangs in the balance over the next month or so. This story is worth monitoring on a daily basis (20%, 23 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
