Coach Prime: “The surest bets in this draft are those two young men, and I didn’t stutter or stammer when I said that”. Thoughts?
- Love it. Great to see Coach Prime have the backs of Shedeur and Travis. It was great to have CU on full display on the NFL Network. Nothing wrong with the confidence (70%, 80 Votes)
- Glad to have CU's Pro Day be telecast, but it may be time for Coach Prime to start focusing more on his 2025 team. The Buffs are in the middle of spring practices ... how is the current team doing? (25%, 29 Votes)
- I'm just concerned that these types of quotes will come back on Coach Prime. Neither Buff are likely to go No. 1, so if Shedeur falls out of the Top Ten ... the haters will have a field day (5%, 5 Votes)

Which of the following of Coach Prime's innovations do you think will have the greatest impact on college football?
- Reliance on the Transfer Portal to overhaul a program. Coach Prime was criticized, but Arizona State and Indiana followed the model to take teams to the College Football Playoff (49%, 70 Votes)
- Bringing in NFL experience to help lure players. While other schools can't get gold jackets on their staffs, schools (like North Carolina) see the lure of having NFL players on staff (32%, 46 Votes)
- Not relying on building a program with freshmen classes. While other schools haven't completely adopted the model, freshmen recruiting Classes are getting smaller in Power Four conferences (19%, 27 Votes)

Do you think that CU's "We Ain't Too Hard Too Find" Showcase will enhance the draft status of CU's players?
- Certainly can't hurt. If nothing else, it helped show the current roster (not to mention potential recruits and transfers) that CU is a national player. Now, we just need to get a few of them drafted (49%, 79 Votes)
- Yes. Getting scouts from all 32 teams to Boulder was important. Sure, they mostly came to watch Travis and Shedeur, but they got a day full of 16 different Buffs. I'll bet a few made good impressions (46%, 74 Votes)
- Not really. It was good for Coach Prime and his publicity machine, but, at the end of the day, the play the Buffs put on film this past season will determine their draft status (5%, 9 Votes)

Rate your level of interest in the results of CU's NFL Pro Day on Friday
- Medium. I'll be interested to hear how the top two Buffs fared, but I'll also be looking for stories on how the other senior Buffs are doing. It would be good for CU to have multiple draft picks (47%, 65 Votes)
- High. Travis is still a sure fire Top Five pick, but Shedeur's stock seems to be slipping. A great day from Shedeur and the other Buffs will make the NFL Draft the end of April must-see TV (30%, 42 Votes)
- Low. I will probably check headlines to see if anyone had a great day (or a bad one), but I'll leave it to the scouts from the 32 NFL teams to pay attention to the numbers and what they represent (23%, 32 Votes)

Tad Boyle: "The future is bright. I'm disappointed in the year, but I'm not down". Thoughts?
- We're talking about a coach who just last year led the team to a school-record 26 wins, with three NBA Draft picks, and two NCAA tournament wins. CU will bounce back (49%, 91 Votes)
- My concern is that Coach Boyle won't be able to recruit in the Transfer Portal era, and that this season is a sign of things to come. Give it another year, and see if the Buffs bounce back (45%, 85 Votes)
- A 14-21 record ... Last in the Big 12 with a 3-17 record ... Blowouts in the Big 12 tournament and meaningless post-season tournament. I'm beyond disappointed - I'm ready to move on (6%, 11 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
