Colorado has more transfers in the Portal (15 and counting) than any other Power Four school. Rate your level of concern
- Medium. Losing Cormani McClain wasn't a good look, and losing a few starters is tough, but that's the way of the world these days. If CU gets upgrades in return, I'll be happy (42%, 133 Votes)
- Low. Disregard the noise. Sure, there are a few players I would have preferred to keep, but the replacements are coming, and we'll forget about this week soon enough (34%, 109 Votes)
- High. CU has lost its entire starting offensive line, three tight ends, and its star recruit from 2023. Doesn't look like Coach Prime knows how to keep a roster. A tough time to be a Buff (again) (24%, 76 Votes)

Cormani McClain announces that he is entering the Transfer Portal. Thoughts?
- If the internet is correct (it's never wrong, right?), McClain wasn't working hard and wasn't responding to coaching. Buff fans shouldn't stress about the loss of this player (63%, 202 Votes)
- I'm just concerned about the hit CU and Coach Prime will take in the national media ... and with potential recruits. Another five-star prospect bites the dust at CU ... We can't have nice things (27%, 86 Votes)
- A huge blow, both to the roster and to Coach Prime's credibility. If a five-star cornerback doesn't want to play for Hall-of-Fame cornerback in Coach Prime, who will? (10%, 35 Votes)

How would you rate your interest in following the Transfer Tracker Portal the next few weeks
- High. The fate of the 2024 Buffs hangs in the balance. The players who are leaving - and the ones who will replace them - will give us an idea of what CU's record will be this fall (44%, 105 Votes)
- Medium. If the Buffs pick up a few starters ... or lose a few starters ... is certainly worth tracking, but I'm assuming that most of the fall roster is in place and practicing (41%, 97 Votes)
- Low. The roster won't be official until August. There will be plenty of in's and out's between now and then, so I'm not going to get bogged down in the player-by-player roster changes in April (15%, 35 Votes)
Start Date: April 15, 2024 @ 4:22 pm

The Athletic rates CU's Recruiting Potential at No. 37 nationally - fifth in the Big 12. Thoughts?
- The Athletic, along with the other pundits, is paying too much attention to the high school recruiting ranks. Today's recruiting is about the Portal and retention, and CU is doing what's necessary (51%, 86 Votes)
- Actually, it sounds about right. What Coach Prime is doing with his recruiting strategy is unconventional, but the survey recognizes that CU is one of the top schools in the Big 12 (26%, 44 Votes)
- I'm actually surprised CU was ranked this high. Coach Prime, along with his recent predecessors, have underachieved when it comes to CU's recruiting potential (23%, 39 Votes)
Start Date: April 14, 2024 @ 4:23 pm

The second Transfer Portal officially opens Monday, April 15th, and runs for two weeks. How many Buffs will enter the Portal this spring?
- 5-10 players. This roster is now made up almost exclusively of Coach Prime players. There is always attrition, but this spring will be remarkably quiet compared to last spring (52%, 92 Votes)
- 10-15 players. About average nationally. There will be - and needs to be - some room made for the new players the coaches want to bring in. It will be busy, but not exceptionally so (39%, 70 Votes)
- Over 15 players. Buff fans need to be prepared for another reshaping of the roster. It won't be the 50-player bloodbath of last spring, but significant roster moves are coming (9%, 16 Votes)
Start Date: April 13, 2024 @ 4:20 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
