Oregon at risk of losing bowl eligibility over poor grades. Thoughts?
- Wonder if there will be any national media stories about Coach Dan Lanning (Mr. "I'm all about the team") and his failure to get his "students" to class. I'm guessing no (40%, 59 Votes)
- I'm just basking in the glow of CU's best-ever APR score this spring, and glad that the national narrative about CU v. Oregon doesn't match the reality (34%, 50 Votes)
- Not really a story. Even if Oregon has to have their players take a class entitled: "The 'O' on your helmet stands for ______", they'll get the grades up (26%, 39 Votes)

NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel passes a guideline allowing for on field sponsor advertising. Thoughts?
- I'm still waiting for CU to cash in on stadium naming rights. CU has never been as popular, so the chance to get top dollar for Folsom Field advertising has never been better - get it done, Rick! (59%, 60 Votes)
- Not a fan. Plenty of advertising already all over the stadium (just wait to see how many ads are run on the new south scoreboard this fall), but the field of play should remain off limits (23%, 23 Votes)
- Sounds good. Take out the Pac-12 logos on the 20-yard lines, and replace them with Coors Light cans. It's gonna happen anyway, might as well have fun with it (18%, 18 Votes)

Do you consider it to be a positive or a negative that the Pac-12 "legacy" schools will retain the conference bowl tie-ins the next two seasons?
- Not concerned at this point. I'm not going to jinx anything by thinking about bowl games. Get CU to six bowl wins (hopefully in October), and I'll start worrying about bowl options (81%, 99 Votes)
- A Plus. With the Big 12 expanding to 16 teams and having so many evenly matched programs, there might be a squeeze on bowl options for the conference this fall (10%, 12 Votes)
- A Negative. They should have made teams from both conferences eligible for both sets of bowl tie-ins. With CU's popularity, the Buffs could have gotten a bigger bowl (9%, 11 Votes)

ESPN has Shedeur as a Tier Two (with an asterisk) quarterback. Thoughts?
- It's just nice that we are talking about a CU quarterback as being one of the best in the nation. How long has it been since we've had that conversation? (58%, 107 Votes)
- Considering the asterisk was that CU had a turnstile offensive line last season, it's fair to put Shedeur in the "wait and see how the season goes" category before anointing him top dog (24%, 44 Votes)
- So, Shedeur could be the No. 1 overall pick in next year's NFL draft, but he's behind four other quarterbacks in ESPN's rankings? Whatever (18%, 33 Votes)

"Legacy" Pac-12 teams to retain Pac-12 Bowl alliances (Alamo, Holiday, etc.) for the next two seasons. Thoughts?
- I'm just hoping that CU gets to six wins (hopefully well before Thanksgiving weekend), so that where the Buffs land for their bowl game is subject of debate (and not wishful thinking) (80%, 110 Votes)
- Not sure how well they thought this through. The second place Pac-12 teams plays in the Alamo Bowl against a Big 12 team. So there could be a CU/Kansas State rematch in San Antonio? Not a fan (14%, 19 Votes)
- I like it. The conferences are in flux, and this frees up more bowl opportunities for CU this December or January. Just another reason to get excited about this fall (6%, 8 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
