Prediction Time: Your picks for your Buffs in the Round of 32 (No. 10 CU men v. No. 2 Marquette; No. 5 CU women v. No. 4 Kansas State)
- You're kidding, right? The CU men are on a roll, and the CU women are a much better team than their seed suggests. Both Buff teams are heading to the Sweet Sixteen! (45%, 61 Votes)
- The women are going to do what they did last year and win their second round game on the road. The fun run for the men's team, though, ends Sunday, with a close loss to Marquette (31%, 42 Votes)
- Not to be a Debbie Downer, but both teams are lower seeds, and the women's team is facing a true road game. Hope to be wrong, but I think both CU teams will lose Sunday (19%, 26 Votes)
- I can see the men winning (no turnovers and good rebounding, please!), but the women's fate was sealed with the late season swoon. A true road game against KSU and 9,000 fans = an L (5%, 8 Votes)

Colorado 102, Florida 100 ... Um ... Thoughts?
- A spectacular win for the University of Colorado and the players. K.J. Simpson's shot will go down in history like Askia Booker's game-winner against Kansas. WOW! On to the Round of 32! (69%, 168 Votes)
- I hate to say it, because I too am enjoying the victory, but going into stall mode in the last few minutes is what made this a game. Shouldn't have been that close (18%, 43 Votes)
- I'm just glad that the CU game was one of only two going on at the time (the Yale/Auburn game was special, too). Glad the nation got to watch our Buffs compete ... and win! (13%, 34 Votes)

Which of the following factoids from CU's 60-53 win over Boise State is the most surprising?
- 'That CU was able to beat Boise State with basically four players. J'Vonne Hadley had two free throws, and the three subs had a combined one point, with Cody Williams going 0-for-4 for the game (54%, 99 Votes)
- That with the win, Colorado has 25 victories, the most in school history. Considering the criticism the team (and its coach) have endured this season, the win total is quite remarkable (44%, 81 Votes)
- That in CU's last two trips to the NCAA tournament, the Buffs have won their opening game, beating Georgetown as a No. 5 seed to open the 2021 NCAA tournament (2%, 4 Votes)

Which Coach Prime quote from CU's Media Day do you like the best?
- "Several other pieces are going to be added as soon as the spring is over. You know what's going to happen this summer. We already know. Some names you may not know but we already do" (48%, 88 Votes)
- "I'm pretty good not just with the starters but the depth because that's a tremendous asset that you need to play the amount of games that we plan on playing. It's not going to be just 12" (38%, 69 Votes)
- "When I look out there now I see guys hungry, eager and have a commitment and willing to sacrifice whatever it is to get to the next level. And their goal is to get to the NFL" (14%, 26 Votes)

Which CU basketball team is most likely to post two wins this week?
- Not going to pick, because both Buff teams are going to advance. I don't know about about the men's team getting to the Sweet Sixteen, but they can win two games this week! (54%, 102 Votes)
- The CU women's team. It's unfortunate that the Buffs lost out on their chance to host the first two rounds, but the Buffs beat Duke on its home court last season - look out, K-State! (28%, 52 Votes)
- The CU men's team. The Buffs should be able to take down Boise State, and Florida lost a big man. Remember this team has won eight of its last nine games! Go get 'em, Buffs! (18%, 34 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
