Which of the following Big 12 games to you will be the most interesting in Week One?
- Nebraska v. Cincinnati - Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium will be filled with a different kind of red, but here's hoping the Bearcats can give the Big 12 a nice win - and the Cornhuskers a tough loss (49%, 82 Votes)
- TCU at North Carolina - Bill Belichick's first game with the Tar Heels will get plenty of attention on Monday night. I'm more interested in how the Horned Frogs (CU's opponent on October 11th) (30%, 51 Votes)
- Auburn at Baylor - It's too bad this game will be going on at the same time as the CU/Georgia Tech game. An interesting matchup of two "quality" Power Four teams (21%, 36 Votes)

Which of the following announcements Tuesday to you was the most newsworthy?
- That CU waited until three days before kickoff to announce there won't be a Ralphie run to start the game, and we don't know when Ralphie VII will be available. Quite the disappointment (39%, 75 Votes)
- That Kaidon Salter was named as CU's starting quarterback. Widely anticipated, it's still news to know that the senior transfer will be the Game One starter. We're with you, Kaidon! (32%, 61 Votes)
- That Ralphie VI is retiring, and Ralphie VII is in training. For whatever reason, Ralphie VI never warmed to the idea of running at Folsom. Hope Ralphie VII works out! (29%, 54 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from Defensive Coordinator Robert Livingston do you like the best?
- "We've got five, six (defensive linemen) that can play. I think our fastball this year is, hopefully, our depth. So guys are playing 30-35 plays and not 60-65" (67%, 96 Votes)
- "It'll take everybody. You can have 10 guys do their job, and one guy messes up, they go 70 yards and I am getting booed out of the stadium. So it takes all 11. I am excited to see that" (24%, 34 Votes)
- "You'll see freshmen, you'll see seniors that have been here, you'll see guys that have been here two weeks. It just is what it is. That is the fun part, putting all the pieces together" (9%, 14 Votes)
Start Date: August 25, 2025 @ 4:46 pm

Which of the following concerns you the most about the CU game against Georgia Tech?
- The "Haynes" boys. A sixth-year quarterback and a back who ran for more yards than CU did as a team. You can't replicate experience, and Georgia Tech has more of it at key positions (60%, 129 Votes)
- That CU has injuries along the offensive line. It's hard enough to get five good players to play as one, but even more difficult when your starters don't have a history of playing together (23%, 50 Votes)
- The CU inside linebackers. The Buffs have quality along the defensive line, but the inside backers are new and untested. Not what you want to hear when facing a great rushing team (17%, 37 Votes)
Start Date: August 24, 2025 @ 4:38 pm

With College Football officially underway, rate your current level of excitement about CU's 2025 season
- High. There are many aspects to the 2025 team which are potentially great. I can't wait to see the Buffs prove themselves (again) to the nation (78%, 130 Votes)
- Medium. I'm sure when Friday roles around, I'll be more excited, but right now, it's still not officially the season in my world. Once Ralphie runs, though, I'll be in (19%, 32 Votes)
- Low. It's not even Labor Day, and the season doesn't really start until Big 12 play begins for the Buffs. The Georgia Tech and Delaware games will be fun, but it's the Houston game when 2025 starts (3%, 4 Votes)
Start Date: August 23, 2025 @ 4:25 pm

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
