How do you feel about Coach Prime's philosophy of signing a small freshman Class, and relying more on the Transfer Portal?
- I think Coach Prime is evolving his strategies. He is taking more freshmen, but still being selective. The ratio of four-star recruits in the Class of 2025 is amazing! (78%, 300 Votes)
- In the age of the Transfer Portal, this makes perfect sense. You need players who have proven themselves. Let someone else "develop" players ... and then recruit them in a year or two (19%, 72 Votes)
- Not a real fan. Yes, you need transfers, but in order to sustain greatness, you have to have a core of young players who can contribute. To be a complete program, you have to develop from within (3%, 13 Votes)

Rate your level of interest in Signing Day on Wednesday ("The Ticker" returns at 6:00 a.m., MT!)
- High. The quarterback of the future, Ju Ju Lewis, plus a bunch of four-star recruits to supplement what has already proven to be a good roster? Count me in! (73%, 264 Votes)
- Medium. There are 15 known recruits, and only 2-3 potential flips/commitments on the board. Will be glad to get this Class signed and sealed, but not expecting a day of great drama (23%, 82 Votes)
- Low. CU will have a Class with 15-18 members. Coach Prime is all about the Transfer Portal, which opens Monday. To be honest, I'll be more interested in roster upgrades over the next few weeks (4%, 14 Votes)

Which of the following storylines to you this week will be the one you will follow most closely?
- Signing Day on Wednesday. Coach Prime and his staff appear poised to sign a small Class, but one loaded with talent. Will there be any last minute additions (or defections)? (82%, 218 Votes)
- How the College Football Playoff turns out, which will impact where CU will be playing its bowl game. Is it a given that CU will play a Big 12 team in the Alamo Bowl, or are there other options? (15%, 39 Votes)
- The men's basketball team taking on Colorado State. It's still football season, but a home game against the Rams, who always give the Buffs a fight, is not one to miss (3%, 8 Votes)
Start Date: December 2, 2024 @ 9:40 am

With all of the ranked Big 12 teams winning, it will be Arizona State and Iowa State in the Big 12 title game. Your reaction?
- Indifferent. We're living in a world where CU finished tied for the league's best record, and was in the hunt for a title berth the final weekend. I'm good (57%, 189 Votes)
- Upset. Baylor mauled Kansas yesterday, 45-17. That's what the Buffs should have done. CU had a clear path to the title game, but blew it (33%, 110 Votes)
- A little relieved, to be honest. The Big 12 champion will likely be a low seed sent on the road to be fodder for a Top Five team. Better to win a bowl game than to bow out meekly in a playoff game (10%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: December 1, 2024 @ 9:16 am

No. 23 Colorado 52, Oklahoma State 0. Thoughts?
- It's been a memorable season (nine wins!), with CU guaranteed nothing short of a tie for first place in the Big 12. Oh, and four blue-chip recruits committing? Unbelievable! (56%, 233 Votes)
- A wonderful ending to a fantastic regular season. It was a complete win, with Sanders/Hunter on full display and the defense dominant from minute one. Great way to end the regular season! (33%, 140 Votes)
- Wouldn't it have been nice if the Buffs had played this well last weekend? Oh well, a fun day, with a full day of Big 12 game watching to do tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a Big 12 title game berth (11%, 46 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
