College Football News has only one Buff (Nate Landman) on its All-Pac-12 team. Thoughts?
- I guess we should be glad that CU at least had Landman on the list - Arizona; UCLA; Cal; and Arizona State were shut out (and Utah only had one player, tying CU for "second" in the South division) (50%, 86 Votes)
- About right. Until or unless CU starts winning some big games and getting national attention, there won't be predictions of success in preseason magazines - or accolades for its players (35%, 60 Votes)
- This list is even more skewed than usual. I understand that the Pac-12 North division has better teams and players, but 18-of-26 All-Conference performers? CFN should watch a few South division games (15%, 27 Votes)

From the Podcast: CU has scheduled twice as many Power-Five non-conference games than has half of the teams in the Pac-12. Thoughts?
- Like it. As Coach Mac I said: To be the best, you have to play the best. Plus, it helps the coffers to play teams like Nebraska and Texas A&M (47%, 91 Votes)
- I wouldn't mind it - I'd rather see Nebraska than Northern Colorado in Folsom - but only if other schools schedule in a like manner, so CU is competing on a level playing field for bowl bids (38%, 73 Votes)
- I don't like it. With the program on the skids for over a decade, it's time to own up to CU's status, and acknowledge that scheduling September losses isn't in CU's best interest (15%, 29 Votes)

From the Podcast: Would the Buffs have played for two national titles with Sal Aunese at quarterback in 1989 and 1990?
- No. Darian Hagan was a special talent, and was the "X" factor who took the team from an eight-win team under Aunese in 1988 to a national title contender (51%, 90 Votes)
- Yes, because Hagan would have still played, as a halfback or slotback. Hagan would have just been another weapon in Aunese's arsenal. With Sal, the '89 and '90 teams would have won two titles (42%, 75 Votes)
- Yes. Aunese was the leader of that team, and would have remained so. The talented roster would have continued to develop, and Aunese would have led them to the Orange Bowl (7%, 12 Votes)

Is it time to push the Panic Button on the CU Recruiting Class of 2021?
- No. It's still early, and there is still plenty of time to get this Class together. Once official visits resume, this staff will be able to reel in its fair share of quality recruits (49%, 109 Votes)
- It wasn't ... until CU's quarterback target Clay Millen paid his own way to visit Boulder ... and then chose to commit to Arizona. I wasn't worry worried before ... but I am now (36%, 80 Votes)
- Yes! CU is ranked 94th in the nation, with four recruits who have less-than-impressive offer sheets. Where have you gone, Darrin Chiaverini? (15%, 34 Votes)

College Football News has CU at 5-7, with wins over Mountain West schools, then UCLA, ASU and Washington State at home. Thoughts?
- About right. Buffs may beat the Cardinal or the Wildcats on the road, but beating ASU at home will be tough. I'm afraid another 5-7 season is coming (46%, 81 Votes)
- Too low. Stanford and Arizona are both on the road, but they were both 4-8 last year. I'm calling it - Buffs are going bowling! (30%, 52 Votes)
- The only part I don't like ... if the predictions come true, then the Buffs will have three chances to get to six wins in November (again) and fail (again) (24%, 42 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
