New Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch has opened all spring practices to the public. Should CU?
- It would be nice ... but it's never going to happen. Fisch is an outlier, and the vast majority of schools (including CU) have gotten comfortable keeping fans away from practices (45%, 73 Votes)
- Yes. There's nothing going on in spring practices which would be a secret worth keeping. Let the fans in - and increase fan participation and interest (28%, 46 Votes)
- No. It's a distraction, and CU coaches and players have enough going on without having fans and message boards to worry about (27%, 45 Votes)

Which of the following odds to win the national championship do you find to be the most misstated?
- Utah at 200:1 ... Along with Colorado, the Utes are underrated. Utah is consistently in contention, and in a wide open South division, could surprise once again (53%, 92 Votes)
- Arizona State at 66:1 ... Las Vegas seems to love Herm Edwards. Wonder if the pundits noticed that Herm Edwards is 0-3 against lowly Colorado? I'm guessing not (28%, 48 Votes)
- Colorado at 200:1 ... The Buffs are lumped in with Washington State and Oregon State. Not surprised that Las Vegas doesn't have much faith in CU, but the Buffs are better than the Beavers and Cougars (10%, 18 Votes)
- UCLA at 150:1 ... Do you think that anyone in Las Vegas even bothered to look up the fact that the Bruins haven't posted a winning season since 2015? It's all on Chip Kelly's reputation - still (9%, 16 Votes)

Which statement from CU athletic director Rick George do you like the best?
- That the Colorado Rockies having fans in the stands makes him "cautiously optimistic" that CU will be allowed to have a full Folsom Field this fall (41%, 80 Votes)
- That recruiting will hopefully be moving off of a year-long dead period on June 1st, with at least a "quiet period" (allowing official visits) returning this summer (35%, 68 Votes)
- That Colorado's athletic department has conducted 14,395 COVID-19 tests with just 0.64 percent coming back positive. Quite an achievement, if you think about it (24%, 48 Votes)

CU (and every other Pac-12 school) to receive $3.2 million (over six years) as part of the Pac-12 payout for this year's run in the NCAA tournament. Thoughts?
- Nice little half-million bonus per year at a time when the budgets are hurting. Glad the Pac-12 made a nice run this year ... and might have positioned itself for more bids in the future (70%, 145 Votes)
- Good money. It's a shame that the women's tournament (two Pac-12 teams in the Final Four) doesn't work the same way (no payouts based on performance), because the Pac-12 women's teams are good! (21%, 44 Votes)
- Nice one-year run (19 units), but the Pac-12 has had some really bad years (three total units in 2018; seven total units in 2019), so we'll see if this year was a one-off, or the start of a trend (9%, 19 Votes)

Which quote about the CU running backs do you find to be the most encouraging?
- Alex Fontenot on the RB room: “There’s a lot of talent, really, but the way I look at it is like, I know my abilities. I’m going to show out regardless. I’m going to find a way on the field" (67%, 126 Votes)
- Alex Fontenot on Jarek Broussard: “Watching Bru, that was really fun for me ... Seeing his struggle and him finally be able to show what he can do, I’m proud of him for what he did" (18%, 33 Votes)
- Karl Dorrell on Alex Fontenot: “He feels good. He doesn’t look like he’s favoring anything. He’s making good cuts; I think he’s over the hump. It’s good to have him back" (15%, 29 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
