Oregon governor to "make sure Ducks are not at a competitive disadvantage". Meanwhile, in Colorado ...
- It's nice bluster from a politician, but I anticipate that the Pac-12 Presidents will vote for some uniformity in opening, and CU will go along so as not to be left behind (54%, 90 Votes)
- It won't be the Pac-12 that saves CU, but the Broncos. Coloradoans don't care about the Buffs, but they do love their Broncos, and if the NFL can play, so can CU (29%, 49 Votes)
- Ne-ver gonna happen. Colorado and/or Boulder County will make sure CU continues to lag behind other schools in opening, continuing CU's disadvantages (17%, 28 Votes)

Athlon's Preseason Top 25 includes only three CU opponents. Thoughts?
- Not news for CU. This is the same publication which will (almost assuredly) again pick CU to finish last. Ignore preseason magazines - or prepare to be disappointed (again) (63%, 95 Votes)
- Good news for CU. It shows that the Pac-12 will be wide open. With the right coaches and the right attitude, CU can compete in almost every game this fall (24%, 36 Votes)
- Bad news for CU ... and the Pac-12. With only USC and Oregon being ranked, the Pac-12 continues its slow descent into irrelevance nationally (13%, 21 Votes)

Pac-12 Presidents to vote next week on whether to allow for voluntary workouts in June. Thoughts?
- Good news for CU and the Pac-12. The SEC is opening up June 8th, and the Pac-12 needs to keep pace with the rest of the nation (54%, 75 Votes)
- We'll see. Each school will have its own rules. We'll see if CU opens up for players, or is left behind (again) (41%, 56 Votes)
- Not great news. Voluntary workouts in June are not important. As long as teams get six to eight weeks to prepare before the season, CU and other Pac-12 schools shouldn't rush to reopen (5%, 7 Votes)

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, rate the odds of Colorado playing Colorado State on Labor Day weekend
- Medium. There are still any number of variables at work here. It seems more likely than it did a few weeks ago, but I'm still not convinced its going to happen (at least on September 5th) (48%, 113 Votes)
- High. Teams are already getting permission to head back to campus for workouts. By September, we'll have this figured out, and the Buffs will be playing the Rams (28%, 67 Votes)
- Low. The NCAA allowing for workouts is just the first of many hurdles for football being played. I can see non-conference games being post-poned, or even canceled (24%, 57 Votes)
Start Date: May 21, 2020 @ 6:06 pm

If CU announced it was going to play its home games as planned this fall, would you go?
- Yes. Assuming that proper precautions are being taken, I'm all in on going to see my Buffs at Folsom! (41%, 113 Votes)
- Maybe ... The past month has seen significant advances. If progress continues on its current pace, I would definitely consider attending games this fall (29%, 80 Votes)
- No ... but that's because I don't attend football games (distance, cost, etc.) anyway (16%, 44 Votes)
- No. Even if the school says its safe, I can't see being in a crowd of 50,000 anytime soon. I would take a pass on attending any sporting events this fall (14%, 39 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
