What stands out to you as the most interesting factoid from CU's 2021 schedule?
- That CU has seven games in the state of Colorado this fall, with five of those seven games in the first half of the season ... before the Buffs take to the road for four of the final six games (80%, 164 Votes)
- That this will be the third time since joining the Pac-12 that CU has faced Arizona State in the Pac-12 opener, yet has never faced USC or Arizona (or Utah) to open Pac-12 play (13%, 27 Votes)
- That CU doesn't have any Pac-12 conference games on Friday until the finale Thanksgiving weekend against Utah. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing - but it's different (7%, 15 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from Karl Dorrell do you like the best?
- "That second game (v. Texas A&M) is a big measuring stick. The last measuring stick we had was Texas and we fell way, way short there. There is a lot that is driving us this off-season" (41%, 102 Votes)
- β(Nate Landman) is doing really well. He is excited. He's ahead of schedule, which you wouldn't be surprised knowing Nate Landman and the kind of kid he is. He has worked really hard" (39%, 96 Votes)
- "We have a new defensive coordinator named Chris Wilson ... We're trying to really iron out the kinks of the issues that we were dealing with the last couple years. We made a lot of progress" (20%, 51 Votes)

CU is ranked No. 24 in the latest Associated Press men's basketball poll. Thoughts?
- Let's hope that this doesn't work against the Buffs as it has in the past - as soon as recognition comes, the Buffs lay an egg. Take care of Arizona State, and recognition will take care of itself! (55%, 138 Votes)
- I'm just glad to see CU back in the polls. Just the 53rd ranking in school history (and 22nd in Tad Boyle's tenure). Good for national recognition - and hopefully good for future recruiting! (32%, 82 Votes)
- Overdue recognition for this team - congratulations, Buffs! Now, if the bracketologists will recognize CU as a Top 25 team, an appropriate seeding (No. 7 seed or higher) will be forthcoming (13%, 33 Votes)

What is the ceiling for the 2020-21 CU men's basketball team?
- I can see the Buffs making it to the finals of the Pac-12 tournament, and picking up CU's first NCAA tournament win since 2012. A nice step forward for the program (54%, 145 Votes)
- A run to the Pac-12 championship - there isn't a team the Buffs will face in Vegas that they haven't beaten - and a trip to the Sweet Sixteen! The sky is the limit this season! (30%, 81 Votes)
- What the Buffs give (like this past weekend), the Buffs take away (Washington, Cal, Utah). I hope that the Buffs are better than one-and-done in Vegas and Indy, but I can foresee early exits in both (16%, 45 Votes)
Start Date: February 28, 2021 @ 5:42 pm

Buffs finish on a 15-4 run to take down UCLA, 70-61. Thoughts?
- McKinley Wright for Pac-12 Player-of-the-Year! Forget the NCAA tournament bubble talk - CU is now a lock! Time to make travel arrangements for Indiana. Well done, Buffs! (45%, 123 Votes)
- This may be the best team in the 11-year tenure of Tad Boyle ... but ... the proof will come in the NCAA tournament. We'll see how the Buffs do against the big boys in a couple of weeks. (30%, 81 Votes)
- I don't want to discount the NCAA tournament talk, but did anyone else notice that CU is 8-2 against the top six teams in the conference (1-1 v. non-playing UA)? Let's go get another Pac-12 title!! (25%, 70 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? π
