Nate Landman announces that he will be coming back for the 2021 season. Thoughts?
- Great news! A second-team All-American and only Buff to earn back-to-back first-team All-conference honors since CU joined the Pac-12. Yea! (51%, 159 Votes)
- Even if he doesn't get a full season (or isn't 100%), his leadership in the locker room will be most welcome. Landman "bleeds black and gold", and his mere presence will help the team (38%, 119 Votes)
- Happy, but let's see how he recovers. Surgery was on December 15th, and it's a long rehab process. We don't know how much playing time he'll get next year ... and what his condition might be (11%, 36 Votes)

Only three Pac-12 teams have had fewer players enter the Transfer Portal than has Colorado (three). Thoughts?
- I like it. It shows that Karl Dorrell and staff have done a good job in retaining players (including most of the 2020 Recruiting Class). It bodes well for the future for this staff and the roster (46%, 118 Votes)
- I find it interesting that four teams have lost at least 10 players, while ASU and UCLA are gaining ground (adding former four-star recruits). We'll see if this makes a difference going forward (39%, 99 Votes)
- Not sold. The Transfer Portal is going to be the way to build teams in the future, and so far, CU is not a serious player. That needs to change if the Buffs are going to become competitive (15%, 37 Votes)

The first NET Rankings (the one used by the NCAA Selection Committee) has CU ranked as the No. 14 team in the nation. Thoughts?
- Nice to see the recognition, but it won't matter unless the Buffs follow through and start winning. Four straight home games give the Buffs a chance to build some positive momentum (65%, 160 Votes)
- Good news. The Buffs are 7-3, and have played all of two games at home, with the three losses to "quality" Quadrant One teams. Bodes well for the Buffs come March (24%, 59 Votes)
- Not really news. The Buffs under Tad Boyle have been underachieving the past few years ... and I expect the same will happen again this spring (11%, 26 Votes)

The CU men's basketball team opened Pac-12 play with three games on the road, going 1-2. Rate your level of concern
- Medium. Starting out with three games on the road, it's hard to push the panic button on a 20-game conference schedule. We'll see how the Buffs do over the next two weekends (75%, 187 Votes)
- High. This is a down year for Arizona and UCLA, and they were ripe for the taking. Buffs behind the eight ball in the conference race, and it will be hard to recover (17%, 42 Votes)
- Low. Between the holidays and the Buffs making a bowl game, I haven't paid much attention to the basketball team. I'll start this week - Go Buffs! Beat the Ducks! (8%, 22 Votes)

Star Buff offensive lineman Will Sherman declares for the NFL Draft. Thoughts?
- Actually, this is a positive for the program. CU needs to show that it can recruit and develop NFL talent along the offensive line. Best of luck to Mr. Sherman (and thanks!) (49%, 152 Votes)
- Colorado is ten-for-ten in underclassmen declaring and being drafted. I hope Sherman doesn't break the string (also hope that if he isn't drafted, that the new legislation might let him come back) (27%, 84 Votes)
- A bad weekend for Colorado football. Losing Jason Harris to the transfer portal and Sherman to the NFL. Games are won in the trenches, and CU has lost two good ones (24%, 74 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
