CU signs 17 new Buffs from the Recruiting Class of 2021. Thoughts?
- I'm prepared to give Karl Dorrell and the staff a pass on this year's Class, because of all of the handicaps involved, but I expect better rankings from the Recruiting Class of 2022 (57%, 237 Votes)
- Looks like a good Class. A quality quarterback, a highly-rated tight end, plus four defensive linemen and five defensive backs - all areas of need. Nice looking Class under the circumstances! (28%, 114 Votes)
- When you finish in the 50's nationally in Team Rankings, and in the bottom half of the Pac-12 (8th at Rivals; 9th at 247 Sports), that's probably where you'll end up in the standings (not good) (15%, 62 Votes)

Rate your level of excitement for Signing Day ...
- Medium. Interested to see the names of the newest Buffs, but I'm really mostly interested in checking in on how the Class rates nationally, and whether areas of need are being addressed (49%, 191 Votes)
- High. This is the future of the program. Coaching and development plays a role, but if you can't recruit, you won't last. (36%, 141 Votes)
- Low. If I'm being honest, I'm not really that interested in players who won't (hopefully) be on the field of play until the fall of 2022 at the earliest. I'll get to know them soon enough (15%, 55 Votes)

Pac-12 moves Oregon into title game, leaving CU without an opponent. Rick George: "We are not considering any non-conference opponents". Thoughts?
- Actually, it may work out for the best. CU is down its best player, and is now virtually assured a bowl game. Get healthy, and enjoy some time off before bowl preparations begin (45%, 173 Votes)
- CU got totally screwed. The Pac-12 should have waited on announcing matchups until they heard from Washington. That way CU could have played OSU, and another school (1-2 WSU?) could have stayed home (31%, 120 Votes)
- I don't appreciate the way CU's position was discounted by the Pac-12 in the process, but I do think that Rick George should have explored a non-conference alternative (CSU? Wyoming?) (24%, 94 Votes)

Pac-12 assigns Colorado to play Oregon for Game Seven (before dumping the Buffs so Oregon could play USC). Thoughts?
- I just hope the game gets played. Whether against the Ducks or another Pac-12 team, I just want these players to get an opportunity to play ... and get to a bowl game! (64%, 204 Votes)
- To be the best, you have to beat the best. What better opportunity to show that the 2020 season is not a fluke than to take down Oregon (at least it was a good idea in theory) (24%, 76 Votes)
- Hate it. In every other scheduled Pac-12 game (including the title game), the team with the better record gets a home game. CU? Not so much, getting a neutral site game in Los Angeles. Figures! (12%, 40 Votes)
Start Date: December 13, 2020 @ 5:11 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Utah storms back from a 21-10 deficit to take down No. 21 Colorado, 38-21. Thoughts?
- Plenty of blame to go around. Noyer threw two bad interceptions; Broussard had a crucial fumble; and the defense without Landman couldn't stop the Utes (48%, 201 Votes)
- Considering the injuries and the turnovers, it was a surprise that the Buffs had a chance to win with five minutes to play. Accept loss No. 1 and move on (31%, 131 Votes)
- You know what I hate the most? The pundits will use the final score to justify discounting CU's four wins, and relegate the Buffs to the bottom half of the Pac-12 South (again) (21%, 89 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
