If you were Rick George for a day, would you swap out Georgia Tech for Georgia State the next two seasons?
- I'd be opposed, and not just because Coach Mac said to be the best you have to beat the best. If CU wants to be a playoff team, strength of schedule matters. CU can't play fluffy schedules (55%, 86 Votes)
- In a heartbeat. How many bowl games has CU been to in the last 20 years? Three? Give me three home games - and a 3-0 start - to every season. I'll take the heat for the weak schedule (29%, 45 Votes)
- No. Just because Nebraska traded Tennessee for Bowling Green and Ohio doesn't mean CU should lower itself to buying its way out of wins like the hated Huskers (16%, 26 Votes)

Texas, USC, and Ohio State cancel Spring games. Thoughts?
- I don't like this trend at all. College football fans go long enough without seeing their teams as it is. Want to build bonds with transfers and freshmen? Sorry, you'll have to wait until September (50%, 63 Votes)
- I can understand it for Texas and Ohio State. Teams are playing 16+ games a season now - it makes sense to limit contact. But fear of losing players in the Portal seems overly paranoid (33%, 41 Votes)
- I just don't want to live in a world where Nebraska's Matt Rhule might be considered as being ahead of the curve. Wouldn't mind this so much if the initial thoughts had originated elsewhere (17%, 22 Votes)

CU hires Domata Peko as defensive line coach. Thoughts?
- I'm just taking this as another positive sign that Coach Prime is building a staff (and a team) for the future, and that he is planning on being in Boulder for the foreseeable future (56%, 96 Votes)
- This is a great hire. Peko spent 15 years in the NFL, including five with defensive coordinator Robert Livingston in Cincinnati. A strong move at an important position (35%, 61 Votes)
- I get the Coach Prime method of hiring coaches with NFL playing experience, but he has that in Warren Sapp. Wouldn't it have been better to hire a defensive line coach with more coaching experience? (9%, 15 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from defensive coordinator Robert Livingston do you like the best?
- “If you have a great pass rusher, let’s let them rush. If you have a great cover player, let’s let them cover. Keep feeding them ... It starts with the people, and it starts with the personnel" (61%, 92 Votes)
- "We’ve all watched a game where the defense is flying around, and you find yourself almost cringing when somebody cuts back. That’s who we want to be. We want to be the hardest playing team we can" (29%, 44 Votes)
- “I think the unfortunate part of this profession is you are never finished, so there’s always a, ‘I wish I would have done this or that’ moment. It’s been a great ride” (10%, 16 Votes)

News may be coming shortly on the College Football Playoff expanding to 14 (or even 16) teams. Thoughts?
- I don't like it. Guaranteeing the SEC and Big Ten four spots each in the playoff turns the title from a playoff to an invitational. The Big 12 and ACC need to resist this move! (57%, 68 Votes)
- I guess it's going to happen. If the next amendment is to take away the bye for champions (likely putting Big 12 teams on the road every year), there may as well be two guaranteed spots (27%, 32 Votes)
- Sounds like a good idea. Getting more teams into the Playoff will help CU get in, as will the Big 12 getting two guaranteed spots. It's going to happen ... make it so! (16%, 19 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
