If I could change one aspect of CU's 2024 schedule, it would be ...
- I wouldn't have North Dakota State on the schedule. Either: a) I don't like playing FCS teams; or b) if you are going to play an FCS team, don't play a giant killer with eight national titles (54%, 120 Votes)
- Not playing both CSU and Nebraska on the road. It was fun having back-to-back rivalry games at home last season, but it would have been better to offset these games (play CSU in Ft. Collins last year) (31%, 70 Votes)
- Move the Central Florida game to later in the season. It might be very warm (and humid) on September 28th, and you might get more CU fans to travel to Orlando in November (15%, 33 Votes)

CU's Big 12 schedule for 2024 has been released. First impressions?
- Like it. Glad that the calendar allows every team a second bye week. Nice to see the Utah game moved off of Thanksgiving weekend. Nice to have only one Friday game (56%, 101 Votes)
- Love it! No back-to-back conference games ... Likely no ranked teams until October (for a change) ... Winnable games up and down the schedule ... Can't wait for August! (32%, 58 Votes)
- Not a fan. It's been set for awhile, but still hard to believe CU has to play two rivalry games in non-conference on the road ... Tough November finish against (likely) three straight ranked teams (12%, 21 Votes)
Start Date: January 30, 2024 @ 5:08 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Four-star transfer defensive lineman BJ Green from Arizona State commits to CU. Thoughts?
- A four-star transfer? Check. In a position of need? Check. And transferring away from a Big 12 rival? Double bonus. Welcome, Mr. Green! (73%, 212 Votes)
- A strong pickup, but yet another one-and-done for the roster. At some point (assuming Coach Prime is staying past the 2024 season), there should be some effort made to build for the future ... right? (16%, 47 Votes)
- I'm just glad to see CU back to adding to the roster. With Signing Day II next Wednesday promising to be quiet, it's nice to have a new four-star recruit to talk about (11%, 32 Votes)
Start Date: January 29, 2024 @ 5:39 pm

No. 3 CU women dominate Oregon to pick up a road split for the weekend. Thoughts?
- No. 2 UCLA lost (at home to WSU) for its third loss in five games; No. 25 Oregon State (which beat CU on Friday), humbled No. 16 Utah, 91-66. It's a wide open Pac-12 (64%, 84 Votes)
- The Buffs held the Ducks to three second quarter points (three free throws), and four first half field goals. I'm told defense wins championships ... (30%, 39 Votes)
- A nice win over an inferior team, but the Buffs did allow the Ducks to get back within seven points in the fourth. Champions close out games like this ... (6%, 8 Votes)
Start Date: January 28, 2024 @ 6:34 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Buffs fall on the road against Washington State, 78-69. Thoughts?
- I'm just glad it's still January, and there is still plenty of time for this team to figure things out. I still see this as a tournament team, but there is little margin for error (47%, 90 Votes)
- Just another example of how Tad Boyle has a distinct ceiling. He can get decent recruits, and can win 20 games a season, but he can't push CU through to an elevated status (42%, 81 Votes)
- Well, considering CU hasn't had a road sweep against the Washington schools since joining the Pac-12, I guess a split is about as much we could have hoped for out of this weekend (11%, 21 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
