Which of the following Larry Zimmer quotes would you rate as the most memorable?
- Trick question. There are so many memorable Larry Zimmer quotes, that it is impossible to choose just one. Thanks, Zim ... and Rest in Peace (68%, 160 Votes)
- 1994: "The ball's in the air - CAUGHT! Colorado scores! The ball was tipped, and the Buffaloes came up with it! Time has run out. Colorado has won the game!" (11%, 27 Votes)
- 1986: "20-10, CU leads Nebraska. They have waited a long time for this. So many times, the Red Flood has come into Folsom Field, and have gone back to the north a winner. It won't be this time" (11%, 26 Votes)
- 1994: "Salaam to the outside. He's out to the 50. He's got 2,000! He's on his way ... Did he get in? Yes! Touchdown, Rashaan Salaam! This place is coming apart!!" (10%, 23 Votes)

Buffs dominate Oregon State, 90-57, to complete a three-game homestand with a 3-0 sweep. Thoughts?
- The Buffs are undefeated at home ... but winless in true road games. The next three games are all on the road (Washington schools; Utah). Win those three (winnable) games, and I'll be on board (63%, 115 Votes)
- The Buffs are finally healthy, and are showing what they can do when all of the parts are in place. This is going to be an exciting spring for the Buff Nation! (28%, 52 Votes)
- It was a nice win over Oregon, but the Buffs had to come from way back to beat USC, and Oregon State ... isn't a competitive team. Glad CU got the wins, but I'm not reading too much into the sweep (9%, 17 Votes)

CU picks up a commitment from former Jackson State defensive back, Herman Smith. Thoughts?
- Classes have started at CU, so any new transfer is not likely to be in Boulder until June. Unless the transfer is from Washington, Arizona or Alabama - just say no (58%, 98 Votes)
- So ... CU is now taking transfers from Idaho State (where Smith played last year after two years at Jackson State). Either the Transfer Portal is devoid of talent, or Coach Prime is losing his touch (27%, 45 Votes)
- I like this pickup. Smith has played for Coach Prime, so he knows what to expect and what's expected of him. He'll be hungry to prove he can play at the Power Five level (15%, 25 Votes)

No. 3 CU women taking on No. 5 UCLA women tonight (6:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). Thoughts?
- A huge game for coach Payne and the Buffs. They have already knocked off two top ten teams, with their only loss to No. 4 N.C. State. They are for real, and can definitely win this game (63%, 92 Votes)
- I'm excited that this may be the largest home crowd in CU women's history (at least regular season). A shame it's on the Pac-12 Networks, so the Buffs won't get national coverage they deserve (31%, 46 Votes)
- I hope the Buffs are up for this challenge, but it will be a challenge. Second of three straight games against Top Ten opponents. The Buffs can't win them all ... can they? (6%, 9 Votes)

Shedeur and Shilo Sanders miss CU's first team meeting while walking the Louis Vuitton runway in Paris. Thoughts?
- Much ado about nothing. The first team meeting was largely an introduction of staff, individuals Shedeur and Shilo have already met. Meanwhile, they were showing what CU NIL can look like. No biggie (38%, 133 Votes)
- Sends the wrong message to the team, with many of the transfers in the Champions Center for the first time. Coach Prime shouldn't be making exceptions for his sons - not a good look (no pun intended) (34%, 117 Votes)
- I'm just taking note that, while most of the team was feeding the homeless on MLK Day, the media wants to focus on what Shedeur and Shilo were doing ... sounds about par for the course (28%, 97 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
