Which quote from the College Football News CU preview to you rings the most true?
- "The expectations nationally will be low ... but don’t expect a total disaster ... Expect Dorrell and his staff to be better than you think" (54%, 126 Votes)
- "There can’t be misses against the Mountain West – starting with wins over Colorado State and Fresno State is an absolute must" (26%, 60 Votes)
- "The offensive and defensive lines are solid ... There is enough experience and talent across the board to make a push to get past five wins" (20%, 46 Votes)

Three Buffs nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame. Thoughts?
- Great news! Rashaan Salaam, Eric Bieniemy and Chris Hudson are all deserving. A good day for the Buff Nation - nice to see the black-and-gold getting national recognition! (64%, 105 Votes)
- It's a shame that Salaam is the only pre-2000 Heisman trophy winner not to be in the Hall. Hopefully, this egregious error will finally be rectified (27%, 44 Votes)
- I just like the fact that no team in the Pac-12 had more nominees (USC and Arizona State also had three). Oregon and Washington were shut out, along with three other Pac-12 schools. Go Buffs! (9%, 14 Votes)

CU receives a commitment from a 6'4", 290-pound offensive lineman, Jackson Anderson. Thoughts?
- Good pickup. His father and both brothers were offensive linemen, and he's a Texas boy. Need I say more? (49%, 101 Votes)
- Looks like Anderson's commitment was because his father played for CU's new offensive line coach - 30+ years ago. I hope Mitch Rodrigue has more recent connections than that to get other recruits (29%, 59 Votes)
- Not impressed. Only one other Power-Five offer, and that was from lowly Kansas. Didn't even merit a rating by Rivals before he committed. Yikes (22%, 45 Votes)

Which quote from Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott do you find the most interesting?
- "We realize there is an East Coast media bias. There is also a little bit of out of sight out of mind" (37%, 57 Votes)
- "We don’t have 90,000-seat stadiums ... There are social, political, historical, and cultural differences that all contribute to the attendance and TV ratings" (37%, 57 Votes)
- "This past year, Utah and Oregon were both top 10 for most of the year ... There is a perception problem we are fighting" (26%, 41 Votes)
Start Date: June 14, 2020 @ 5:08 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Preseason magazines have Oregon a runaway favorite to win the Pac-12. Thoughts?
- It doesn't matter. Oregon will lose to Ohio State in Week Two, and will fall out of the national spotlight before mid-September (60%, 86 Votes)
- Sounds about right. Washington schools have new coaches; USC is erratic; and Stanford is down. It's a good year for Oregon to run the table in the Pac-12 and make the playoffs (25%, 36 Votes)
- Not so fast, my friend. Cal is on the rise, and Oregon tends to lose a game or two they are not supposed to (see: ASU, 2019; Arizona, 2018). The Pac-12 race is wide open (15%, 22 Votes)

Stuart:
I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
