CU Athletic Director Rick George named to College Football Playoff Selection Committee. Thoughts?
- Like it. Another indication (along with George's participation on the NIL committee) that George is well respected nationally ... and it's good publicity for CU overall (54%, 147 Votes)
- I just hope that at some point in his three year term on the CFP Selection Committee that George has to recuse himself for a time ... while CU's ranking is being debated (43%, 116 Votes)
- Just wondering ... With George spending so much time on national committees, does he have enough time to take of business in the Champions Center? (3%, 8 Votes)

Which sophomore-to-be defensive player will have the greatest impact in the 2020 season?
- LB/S Mark Perry - Perry made an impression in November - when he was supposed to be a red-shirt. He can play at the Star backer position or safety, but he will be on the field this fall (70%, 199 Votes)
- DL Na'im Rodman - Rodman played 314 snaps last year as a true freshman, more than any non-starter. With an off-season of conditioning, he will just get bigger and better (24%, 68 Votes)
- CB Tarik Luckett - Luckett was a receiver in August, but a contributing cornerback in the fall. With Derrick Abrams graduating, Luckett has a good chance to start at cornerback in 2020 (6%, 17 Votes)

Despite the loss to Arizona, CU remains ranked (No. 23) in the AP poll. Thoughts?
- I'm just glad that CU is continuing to receive national attention. A sweep of the Washington schools at home this weekend would go a long way in reinforcing CU's national standing (64%, 144 Votes)
- Glad to see it. The pollsters recognized that the McKale Center is a tough place to play, and remembered that the Buffs posted a road win over ASU last Thursday (22%, 49 Votes)
- A joke, right? After how poorly the Buffs played against Arizona, it's hard to believe anyone would think that there aren't more than 22 better teams in the country (14%, 31 Votes)

What to you was the biggest surprise from the "consensus" preseason Top 25?
- That there are actually eight national publications willing to take the time to put together a (worthless) "Way Too Early" Top 25 list (52%, 117 Votes)
- That USC, with all of the Helton issues, and Arizona State (twice losers to CU under Herm Edwards) were in the Top 25 (33%, 74 Votes)
- That Oregon, despite losing Justin Herbert and a good chunk of its offense, is ranked as the consensus No. 7 team (15%, 34 Votes)

Which quote for you best sums up CU's 75-54 loss to Arizona?
- McKinley Wright: "It was obvious, everybody in the country saw it today. We got our butts whipped on the rebounding end. That was really it" (53%, 102 Votes)
- Tad Boyle: "I'm not saying we weren't ready tonight, but we didn't play nearly well enough to compete, to give ourselves a chance to win tonight" (32%, 61 Votes)
- Tad Boyle: "I thought the better offensive team won tonight. I've got to do a better job of helping our guys" (15%, 30 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
