The biggest Pac-12 surprise in the AP preseason poll:
- That Oregon was ranked, after going 11-14 the past two seasons (and going through three coaches in three seasons) (78%, 230 Votes)
- That USC was placed in the top 15 despite not knowing who the quarterback will be (perhaps a 17-year old?) (12%, 36 Votes)
- That four teams: Washington (6); Stanford (13); USC (15); and Oregon (24) made the poll (not bad for a league with a 1-8 bowl record in 2017) (10%, 28 Votes)

Sophomore tight end Jared Poplawski (shoulder) lost of the season. Thoughts?
- I'm just glad that we are a week out from Game One, and have had only one season-ending injury this summer (39%, 121 Votes)
- Unfortunate, but manageable. There are others (Bounds, Jones, Russell) who can pick up the slack (32%, 99 Votes)

How would you rate the CU linebacker corps?
- A strength. Two 100+ tacklers returning, supplemented by speed, talent and (now) depth (70%, 251 Votes)
- We'll see. If Gamboa and Lewis have 100-tackle seasons again, it will be a sign that the defense is (again) failing (27%, 97 Votes)

The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
