Is the bye week an advantage or disadvantage for Colorado?
  • A push. Since the Bruins have a bye week at the same time, there is no advantage or disadvantage for either team (41%, 149 Votes)
  • An advantage. The Buffs get time to heal, plus refocus for Pac-12 play. Coaches can reinforce that 3-0 doesn't mean anything if you go 2-7 in Pac-12 play (37%, 137 Votes)
  • A disadvantage. The Buffs are on a roll, while the UCLA Bruins are struggling. A break gives the Bruins a chance to regroup and give CU a tougher game (22%, 80 Votes)

In your personal Pac-12 "Power Rankings", where does Colorado fit?
  • 4-6 ... With many of the Pac-12 teams playing poorly this September, the Buffs can certainly claim a spot in the top half of the conference (73%, 270 Votes)
  • Top 3 - After Washington and Stanford, no team has played better so far this season (15%, 54 Votes)
  • 7-9 ... With CSU and Nebraska down, we still don't know how good this team is. The Buffs opened 3-0 last year, and still didn't make a bowl game (13%, 47 Votes)
  • 10-12 ... I'm a CSU/Nebraska troll, and I'm jealous of CU's 3-0 start (0%, 0 Votes)

Colorado just outside the Top 25 (in at No. 29) in both polls. Thoughts?
  • It may sound strange, but I actually hope the Buffs don't sneak into the Top 25 next week. I hope that the Buffs are just outside the poll next Friday, giving them incentive to play well against UCLA (59%, 225 Votes)
  • Love it! Glad to see the Buffs getting national recognition. CU is the only undefeated team in the Pac-12 South - and ranked accordingly (32%, 123 Votes)
  • Don't like it. The Buffs opened 3-0 last season, then fell apart. Let's hope that this praise doesn't get into the Buffs' heads, and they overlook UCLA (9%, 32 Votes)

Colorado defeats New Hampshire, 45-14. Your grade for the Buffs?
  • A B ... A solid performance overall, but there is still plenty for the Buffs to work on before UCLA comes to town (72%, 290 Votes)
  • A C ... A win is a win. But CU started 3-0 last season, and we know how that ended up. Buffs should have been more dominant (17%, 70 Votes)
  • An A ... 28-0 at half ... 45-14 final ... Buffs 3-0 in non-conference play. 'Nuff said (11%, 44 Votes)

  1. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  2. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  3. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
