It's not getting any easier - CU's next two opponents (UCLA and Stanford) take out the Arizona schools. Thoughts?
- The Buffs played well for much of the USC game. They just need to play a complete game to get over the hump. They're due to win at least one of these 50/50 games (53%, 122 Votes)
- With a defense that can't hold anyone under 30 points, it really doesn't matter who CU plays. An 0-fer November is coming, and a 3-9 final record (with an eight game losing streak to end the season) (32%, 73 Votes)
- If it weren't for bad luck, CU wouldn't have any luck at all. Teams which are down seem to rise up when it's time to play Colorado. The Gods are against us! (15%, 36 Votes)

USC 35, Colorado 31. Thoughts?
- All I know - When the preseason magazines come out next spring, all that this game result will show is an "L" - CU's 14th in a row to USC. This one hurts - it could have been a program-changing win (44%, 141 Votes)
- Fans have short memories. This was supposed to be a blowout (and looked like it after the first minute). The Buffs are growing and learning, and this experience will pay long term dividends (33%, 106 Votes)
- It's clear that this coaching staff is new. The Buffs were not only out-played in the fourth quarter, they were out-coached. The Buffs and their fans deserve better (23%, 76 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for CU returning home to take on the USC Trojans ...
- I believe the Buffs will play much better than they have the last two weeks, but USC has too many weapons on both sides of the ball. A closer game ... but still a USC victory (43%, 127 Votes)
- This has all the makings of a USC blowout. The Buffs are injured in all the wrong positions to put up a fight against Troy. Make it three straight blowout losses for the sinking ship which is CU 2019 (33%, 97 Votes)
- The Spirit of '86 lives! Just like another October 25th, when the Buffs toppled No. 3 Nebraska for the first time in 19 years, CU posts historic first win over USC! (24%, 74 Votes)
Start Date: October 24, 2019 @ 6:28 pm

Which of the Saturday Pac-12 games for you holds the most interest?
- Washington State at No. 11 Oregon - Hard to believe, but the Cougars actually own a four-game winning streak against the Ducks. Is it possible for Leach & Co. to make it five in a row? (55%, 108 Votes)
- No. 24 Arizona State at UCLA - The Sun Devils had their hats handed to them by Utah, while UCLA dominated Stanford. Two teams heading in different directions, or will order be restored? (30%, 60 Votes)
- California at No. 12 Utah - The Bears are struggling at the quarterback position, and the Utes have the Pac-12's best defense ... not a great combination if you are a Bear fan (8%, 15 Votes)
- Arizona at Stanford - Both teams are coming off of sobering losses. Which team will rebound? Which team will continue their slide downward? (7%, 14 Votes)

Which of the following Tuesday press conference quotes from Mel Tucker do you like the best?
- "I've told players, 'If you're not getting it done I want to give somebody else a chance to get it done. I don't know if they can get it done or not, but I know you can't' " (57%, 138 Votes)
- "We actually had to back them down today a little bit just to make sure they're fresh and ready for the game. And that shows me a lot about our guys and their commitment" (30%, 72 Votes)
- "Our identity needs to be to run the ball on our terms and be able to make explosive plays, take care of the football, and score points. That's a big part of it and we're working towards that" (13%, 31 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
