- Edge rushers/Outside linebackers Jordan Domineck and Sav’ell Smalls. CU had nine total sacks last season. This pair may have nine sacks between them ... in September (33%, 66 Votes)

Which of the following Pac-12 media day quotes from defensive coordinator Charles Kelly do you like the best?

- "What you do is you make sure everybody understands your vision. We all understand that vision. It's not necessarily fear for our jobs; it's just this is our vision for where we want to go" (28%, 44 Votes)
- “I have a lot of respect for what Colorado has done and the tradition they have, but I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for Coach ... I believe in the same things he believes in. He’s a good man" (18%, 29 Votes)

Coach Prime to miss the Pac-12 Media Day while recovering from follow up surgery. Thoughts?
- Just glad - and appreciate - that Coach Prime is getting his surgeries out of the way during the silly season, and will be available for Fall Camp. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Coach! (79%, 181 Votes)
- Much ado about nothing. Media Days were a big deal in the pre-internet days, when beat writers could meet with coaches and players from other schools. Now? It's just another round of interviews (11%, 26 Votes)
- It will be interesting to see how the national media plays this. Are they going to spin it that Coach Prime may not be able to fulfill his duties as head coach? Or that he is ducking media questions? (10%, 21 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
