Colorado falls to 3-3 after a 68-55 loss to Boise State. Thoughts?
- Tad Boyle told us this would be an inconsistent team to star the season, but would be dangerous in the spring. The first part is correct; I hope the second part is correct as well (68%, 130 Votes)
- Sigh ... The Buffs are what the Buffs are. At least the basketball programs are relevant and competitive, which is far more than what can be said about the football program (25%, 48 Votes)
- Win one; lose one. If my math is right, that means that CU will be a .500 team and out of any consideration for post-season play. Another sad day to be a Buff fan (7%, 14 Votes)

No. 15 Washington 54, Colorado 7. Thoughts?
- I just hope that candidates for CU's open head coaching position aren't scared off by the complete disaster the program has become. Other schools are struggling ... but they are at least competitive (51%, 152 Votes)
- Only one more week to go, and we can start looking forward to the naming of the new head coach, and the fresh start which will come with the 2023 season. I can't wait for this season to be over (25%, 76 Votes)
- Completely embarrassing. The Buffs have given up on the season, and so should the fans. A crowd of 20,000 or less for Utah is what this administration needs to see from its disgusted fan base (24%, 72 Votes)

It's time! Your prediction for Colorado at No. 15 Washington (Saturday, 7:14 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks):
- Third straight weekend being a 30+ point underdog. It will be a third straight weekend losing by 30+ points. Another blowout loss - nothing to see here. Season almost over (58%, 138 Votes)
- Who cares? Seriously, we have a men's basketball team beating ranked SEC teams (but no one else), and the naming of the next coach is getting closer. The 2022 season is dead to me (27%, 64 Votes)
- I don't know why, but I think the Buffs will keep this one close ... and by close, I mean that they will lose by less than four touchdowns. Washington sleep walks to an easy win (15%, 37 Votes)

Which of the following Pac-12 games this weekend for you holds the most interest?
- No. 7 USC at No. 16 UCLA (Sat., 6:00 p.m., MT, Fox) ... Will USC keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive? Will UCLA fans be able to find their way to the Rose Bowl for the first time this year? (58%, 102 Votes)
- No. 10 Utah at No. 12 Oregon (Sat., 8:30 p.m., ESPN) ... Both teams are 8-2, 6-1. The winner will likely earn a Pac-12 title berth. Which two-loss team will want it more? (37%, 66 Votes)
- Stanford at Cal (3:30 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks) ... Call me crazy, but the loser between these two 3-7 teams may be looking for a new coach in a few weeks (5%, 9 Votes)
Start Date: November 17, 2022 @ 5:51 pm

With the addition of Assane Diop, CU men's basketball has the 16th-ranked Recruiting Class in the nation. Thoughts?
- Amazing stuff. First Tad picks up a five-star in Cody Williams to go with Courtney Anderson, then signs a (local!) four-star in Diop. Well done, Tad! (69%, 180 Votes)
- Cautiously optimistic. Buffs fans have been happy to get 20-wins a season and the occasional trip to the Big Dance. Will this be the Class which gets CU to the Sweet Sixteen? (16%, 41 Votes)
- I hope that the new head football coach spends some quality time with Tad, and figures out how to get recruits to CU. It will take more than NIL money to lure quality football recruits to Boulder (15%, 38 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
