It's time! (for the last time this season). Your prediction for CU v. No. 14 Utah (Saturday, 2:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks):
- It's still November, right? It's still the 2022 season, right? It's another game against a ranked team, right? It'll will be another loss by more than 30 points ... right? (63%, 141 Votes)
- The Buffs will be playing for their seniors, and will have a (smaller than usual) home crowd cheering for them. Utah will sleep walk to a victory, but it will be by less than the spread of 29.5-points (22%, 50 Votes)
- In 2011, in one of the worst seasons in CU history, Jon Embree and the Buffs went to Salt Lake City and upset the Utah. The Utes have nothing to play for, but the Buffs do ... CU in an upset! (15%, 33 Votes)

Rate your level of interest in CU hiring Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders as its next head coach
- High. Bringing "Prime Time" to Boulder would give CU instant credibility with recruits, and national recognition that Colorado is taking football seriously again (50%, 159 Votes)
- Doesn't matter what I think - there is no way Deion Sanders is coming to Boulder. He may feign an interest in order to get a better deal elsewhere, but there is zero chance he wants to be at CU (33%, 106 Votes)
- Low. A two-year head coach at a lower level conference, plus baggage from issues with his camps, plus the negative reaction he will get from CU academics ... better candidates are out there (10%, 32 Votes)
- Medium. Sanders hasn't been a head coach at the Power Five level, and has no connections to recruit in California and Texas. Plus, even with a 5-7 record (like Mel Tucker), Sanders would leave CU (7%, 21 Votes)

Which of the following quotes from CU athletic director Rick George gives you the most optimism?
- None of the above. Glad that CU administrators are finally talking about updating transfer guidelines, but until its done - and the new coach sings its praises - I'm not buying that CU is all in (68%, 162 Votes)
- On changing transfer policies: "I feel very good about where we’re going to get to. I think there will be changes made, yes" (16%, 38 Votes)
- On getting policies in place for this offseason: "It’s something that we know is a priority, something that we need to have in place. I’m hopeful that we have that done very shortly" (14%, 34 Votes)
- “I think we’ve recognized that it could be challenging (for transfers) to get in here because of some of the courses that we take, and I think just re-looking at it (was motivation)" (2%, 3 Votes)

Who would receive your vote for the "Buffalo Heart Award" this season?
- Tight end Brady Russell (51%, 129 Votes)
- Tailback Alex Fontenot (15%, 38 Votes)
- Defensive end Terrance Lang (10%, 25 Votes)
- Linebacker Quinn Perry (7%, 18 Votes)
- Linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo (6%, 16 Votes)
- Safety Isaiah Lewis (5%, 12 Votes)
- Other ... (4%, 9 Votes)
- Offensive lineman Tommy Brown (2%, 5 Votes)
- Wide receiver Daniel Arias (0%, 3 Votes)

Colorado opens as a 29.5-point underdog to No. 14 Utah (Saturday, 2:00 p.m., MT, Pac-12 Networks). Thoughts?
- I just wonder how the first press conference will go with the new head coach - "Hey coach. What's it like taking over a roster which isn't within a quarter mile of being competitive?" (48%, 86 Votes)
- Yawn. Another week, another game with CU being a four-touchdown underdog. Oh, and the basketball team can't beat teams they're supposed to beat. Is it 2023 yet? (43%, 77 Votes)
- I guess we can be "encouraged" by the fact that, for the first time in November, CU is not a 30-point underdog. Let's take what we can get, and hope for a competitive game (9%, 15 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
