My thoughts on Jay MacIntyre becoming a CU Buff ...
- I'm okay with it ... as long as he doesn't want to play quarterback (51%, 129 Votes)
- All in favor. A three-star multi-position athlete? What's not to like? (27%, 68 Votes)
- No. No. No. Dan/Cody Hawkins process stories and team distractions for the next five years? No thank you! (22%, 57 Votes)

CU remains ranked (21st/24th) despite loss to OSU
- Excellent news. Buffs now have a good chance of remaining ranked throughout the rest of the season (59%, 97 Votes)
- Basketball polls are irrelevant. Getting into the NCAA tournament is all that matters (29%, 48 Votes)
- Not that excited. I think the Buffs play better when they are the underdog - and motivated (12%, 20 Votes)

My take away from the 48-45 win by CSU over Washington State
- That WSU's Mike Leach is arrogant in his play-calling, and deserved to lose the way he did (28%, 64 Votes)
- Nothing. The outcome of that game has nothing to do with CU (28%, 62 Votes)
- That CSU fans will be insufferable for the next nine months (24%, 53 Votes)
- That CSU didn't give up, and will be favored over the Buffs next August (20%, 46 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
