Congress debating requiring schools to provide and honor multi-year scholarships
- A bad idea. This would mean any malcontent or poor performer would be untouchable for four years (56%, 81 Votes)
- A good idea. Players are expected to honor their commitment to the school. Why shouldn't the schools be equally bound? (44%, 64 Votes)

Colorado signs a kicker from Mexico, Diego Gonzales, to a scholarship
- Good news. Mac & Co. continue to think outside the box, which is what it's going to take (70%, 172 Votes)
- Hard to say, but I'm not that thrilled on giving up a scholarship CU could have used next February (27%, 66 Votes)
- Not so great news. Your telling me that CU couldn't find a decent kicker out of the Class of 2014? (3%, 7 Votes)

My thoughts on the CU defensive line heading into fall camp
- An unknown. There will be improvement, but it will it be enough for CU to be consistently competitive? (71%, 156 Votes)
- A strength. Uzo-Diribe can be All-Pac-12; plenty of depth and experience (20%, 43 Votes)
- A weakness. Simple math: Same players ... and the Buffs were 115th in rushing defense last fall (9%, 21 Votes)

My thoughts on the CU offensive line heading into Fall Camp
- A concern. Hopefully, the new offensive system will help offset weaknesses (66%, 146 Votes)
- A strength. Four starters back. If they stay healthy, this unit will be very good (21%, 47 Votes)
- A weakness. Razor-thin depth; two of the best players from last year (David Bakhtiari and Alex Lewis) gone (13%, 28 Votes)
Start Date: July 30, 2013 @ 8:16 pm

My "best case" scenario for Colorado this season ...
- Three to four wins and no blowouts. It's going to be a tough year. I'll be happy if CU is simply competitve this fall (67%, 172 Votes)
- 7-6 with a bowl bid. The schedule is too tough, and the Buffs too thin at key positions to hope for more (28%, 71 Votes)
- 13-0, baby! CU is undefeated until proven otherwise! (5%, 14 Votes)
Start Date: July 30, 2013 @ 7:24 am

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
