After letting it sink in a bit, my reaction to the Bohn firing ...
- Too early to tell. It may not have been working with Bohn, but there is no guarantee of improvement with the next hire (54%, 147 Votes)
- Good news. Bohn was polarizing and ineffective. Better now than later (27%, 72 Votes)
- Bad news. CU looks bad - again. Bohn a scapegoat for issues beyond his control (19%, 52 Votes)
Start Date: May 29, 2013 @ 9:57 am
End Date: No Expiry
CU Athletic Director Mike Bohn resigns
- Facts are facts. Seven straight losing seasons and stalled fundraising will be his legacy (45%, 132 Votes)
- Football results notwithstanding, he was a good AD. Basketball hires and move to Pac-12 a fine legacy (34%, 100 Votes)
- CU again makes news for the wrong reasons. I'm already ready to move on and find the next hire (21%, 60 Votes)
Start Date: May 28, 2013 @ 2:02 pm
End Date: No Expiry
Kyle Ringo authors "Commitment at Colorado" for Athlon preview magazine
- Most of it rings true. I hate to see CU be disparaged, but if it helps bring about change, then I can't argue with the message (48%, 73 Votes)
- Ringo is only pointing out what is fact: There is a distinct lack of commitment from CU to athletics (30%, 46 Votes)
- A hack job from a CU hater. Nothing new to see here. (22%, 33 Votes)
Start Date: May 27, 2013 @ 3:39 pm
End Date: No Expiry
CU men's BB picks up Baylor in non-conference schedule
- Great move. More exposure ... and there will certainly be no RPI issues next March (74%, 139 Votes)
- Don't mind picking up tough opponents, but do the (almost) all have to be from the Big 12? (16%, 30 Votes)
- Not so great a move. Kansas, Oklahoma State, Harvard ... and now Baylor? It's going to be hard to get to 20 wins next year with this young team (10%, 18 Votes)
Start Date: May 25, 2013 @ 9:37 pm
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
