CU asking some linemen to lose 20-35 pounds before fall ...
- Good idea. Buffs need to increase speed along both sides of the ball (58%, 127 Votes)
- Not sure. Probably another example of CU having to take a step back in order to take two steps forward (37%, 81 Votes)
- Bad idea. Buffs should be bulking up, not slimming down (5%, 12 Votes)

Will there be announcements of other transfers from CU?
- Maybe. Mac & Co. have done a good job of convincing players to stay ... but they thought Alex Lewis was staying (60%, 124 Votes)
- Definitely. There were some unhappy players last December and this spring. Some will leave. (23%, 48 Votes)
- No. We probably would have heard by now, so the roster will remain intact (17%, 36 Votes)

CollegeFootballNews: Being competitive is enough for CU this fall
- About half of the games are winnable. The other half ... competitive is enough (46%, 98 Votes)
- Sad, but true. After losing by four touchdowns a game, staying close is the new goal (28%, 59 Votes)
- "You play to win the game!". Buffs are undefeated until proven otherwise, and need to prepare that way (26%, 54 Votes)
Start Date: May 14, 2013 @ 6:43 pm

The importance of the new coaching staff recruiting top in-state players
- Huge. For future recruiting, increased fan interest, and better media coverage (48%, 112 Votes)
- Medium. Buffs need in-state talent, but get a pass for this year - they need to post W's before locals will believe (34%, 80 Votes)
- Low. CU needs speed and talent, regardless of zip code (18%, 40 Votes)
Start Date: May 13, 2013 @ 8:44 pm

QB Jordan Webb and former OL Alex Lewis arrested
- Nothing to see here. Lewis is gone, and Webb was not likley to play anyway. (52%, 139 Votes)
- That's just great. CU finally makes the front page at ESPN, and it's for this? (24%, 64 Votes)
- I'm just pissed that the headlines all mention CU, but none mention Nebraska. Buffs can't buy a break! (24%, 64 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
