Will you be checking out the preseason magazines?
- Yes. Even though it will be painful. I'm a football junkie (witness my presence on this website in May) (49%, 100 Votes)
- No. We know CU will be picked 12th in the Pac-12 (and in the 100's nationally). Why add injury to insult? (33%, 67 Votes)
- Maybe. I'll check on rankings out of habit, but I'll try and avoid the painful (if true) assessments (18%, 39 Votes)

The Pac-12 has a TV deal worth an average of $225M per year. The SEC TV deal ...
- $350M - $500M range. I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC deal is double that of the Pac-12 (54%, 80 Votes)
- Will be in the $225M - $350M range. You can only print so much money. (34%, 50 Votes)
- Over $50M per year. Seven straight national titles ring a bell? (12%, 18 Votes)

What I take from the $450M improvements to Texas A&M's stadium ...
- The rich get richer. Nothing new here. CU has never been at this level of spending or donations. (51%, 78 Votes)
- And CU can't raise $220M, or $170M, or whatever the new (lower) amount will end up being. A disgrace. (35%, 53 Votes)
- I'm just glad we're not competing in a league with schools which can regularly fill 100,000 seats (14%, 22 Votes)

Nine-game conference schedule ... or eight?
- I don't care, as long as every conference has the same number, so that playoff candidates are on equal footing (58%, 121 Votes)
- Pac-12 should go to eight games - more home games and more overall wins for the league (25%, 52 Votes)
- SEC should go to nine and compete on an equal playing field with other conferences (17%, 35 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
