If CU goes winless in November ...
- I guess I could live with it, but only if the Buffs continue to show improvement and stay competitive (45%, 105 Votes)
- It will be a disappointment, but this team has already won three games. Baby steps, but still quite an improvement over 1-11 (34%, 80 Votes)
- It will be a huge step back. Even the 2012 team - the worst team in CU history - won a Pac-12 game (21%, 47 Votes)

Red-shirt freshman forward Chris Jenkins leaving basketball team
- Okay by me. Jenkins probably wouldn't have played much, and this frees up another scholarship for a potentially higher-rated recruit (54%, 112 Votes)
- To be honest, I don't even know who Chris Jenkins is (36%, 74 Votes)
- Not a good sign. Five days before the start of the season? This can't help team depth or chemistry (10%, 21 Votes)

My prediction for the next four games ...
- 2-2 ... A win over Cal, plus a win over USC or Utah (41%, 124 Votes)
- 1-3 ... Only the Cal game looks like a win, but 4-8 is still an improvement! (38%, 117 Votes)
- 0-4 ... Can't predict CU will win a Pac-12 game ... until they actually win one (11%, 35 Votes)
- 3-1 ... A loss to Washington, but the other three games are winnable (6%, 18 Votes)
- 4-0 ... Why not? Buffs are playing better and better (4%, 11 Votes)
Start Date: November 3, 2013 @ 5:47 pm

My thoughts on the Buffs' loss to UCLA ...
- Buffs hung tough throughout. Many positives to take from this game. I'm upbeat! (66%, 167 Votes)
- I'd like to feel more positive ... if only the scoreboard somehow better reflected the effort (29%, 72 Votes)
- Same song, different verse. Another lopsided defeat. I'm totally frustrated ... and ready for basketball. (5%, 13 Votes)

CU ranked No. 29 in the preseason AP poll
- I'm fine with it. It gives the Buffs an added chip on their shoulder heading into the season (49%, 94 Votes)
- It may not matter in the long run, but for a program which has been ranked in the preseason only once in school history ... it would have been nice (29%, 56 Votes)
- It's just another slap in the face. Oregon and UCLA ranked, but not CU? Buffs get no respect (22%, 42 Votes)

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
