Buffs pick up first commitment for the Class of 2014
- Looks good. A three-star with great potential ... and he's a local kid! (71%, 140 Votes)
- Not bad for a first commit, but it will be at least two years before Miller (250-pounds) will see the field (18%, 35 Votes)
- I'm just glad to see CU is competing with other BCS schools for players (11%, 21 Votes)

Just over 100 days to opening kickoff vs. CSU. My biggest wish for the summer ...
- That a starting quarterback emerges early in fall camp (44%, 90 Votes)
- That there are no injuries, defections or arrests this summer (34%, 70 Votes)
- That CU picks up in recruiting, actually obtaining a few verbal commitments (16%, 33 Votes)
- That Andre Roberson is selected in the NBA draft (6%, 13 Votes)

Larry Scott the highest paid commissioner
- Justified, but there is still work to do. Playoff selections; bowl agreements; issues with officials - all need attention (49%, 88 Votes)
- And rightfully so. The $3B television rights - PLUS keeping all of the Pac-12 Network rights? Worth his weight in gold. (31%, 56 Votes)
- Too much for a commissioner who can't get DirecTV on board (20%, 36 Votes)
Start Date: May 21, 2013 @ 12:55 pm
End Date: No Expiry
My thoughts on the status of the CU offensive line ...
- A work in progress ... Some members of the line untested, but talent is there. In Bernardi we trust! (55%, 129 Votes)
- Dire straits ... Two best players gone; no depth = no offensive production and a long season (30%, 70 Votes)
- I try not to think about such things ... wake me in September, 2014 (15%, 34 Votes)
Start Date: May 20, 2013 @ 10:02 am
End Date: No Expiry

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.
SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.
The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!
‘SkoBuffs!! Drub the Nubs.
Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.
Did Coach Hagan just let the cat out of the bag regarding Colorado’s starting QB?
Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
