  • A great victory. This Buff team has what it takes to beat every team left on the schedule (72%, 320 Votes)
  • Don't care about the next game. The Buffs are 1-0 this week - that's all that matters (22%, 98 Votes)
  • A big win, but, as the Pac-12 is so closely bunched, this Buff team could lose to every team left on the schedule (6%, 28 Votes)

CU 4-2 at the midway point of the season. The second half ...
  • 4-2. No reason why the Buffs can't duplicate the first half record (66%, 269 Votes)
  • 3-3, 2-4 ... or worse. I hope I'm wrong, but the Buffs took a step back last week. CU has to take out ASU to get me to believe again (20%, 80 Votes)
  • 5-1 or 6-0. There isn't any game on the schedule the Buffs can't win (14%, 60 Votes)

The biggest challenge for the Buffs this weekend ...

  • CU defense against the ASU offense - Can Buffs contain the Sun Devils and Kalen Ballage? (34%, 119 Votes)
  • CU offense against the ASU defense - Can the offensive line bounce back and dominate the Sun Devils? (27%, 93 Votes)

CU drops to No. 33 in the latest AP poll
  • About right. Buffs have yet to earn a regular spot in the national polls (45%, 160 Votes)
  • I'm just glad that, for the first time in years, we get to worry about poll positioning (30%, 107 Votes)
  • Too much of a drop. Down 12 spots, after a four-point road loss to a quality opponent? I'd bet such a drop wouldn't happen to an SEC team (25%, 86 Votes)

Start Date: October 10, 2016 @ 6:34 pm

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
