No. 4 Michigan defeats Colorado, 45-28 ...
  • Liufau's status (high ankle sprain) is what matters most. We figured CU would be 2-1 ... but now what? (50%, 202 Votes)
  • Despite the score, Buffs can hold their heads high. They gave the fourth-ranked Wolverines all they could handle (27%, 110 Votes)
  • A loss is a loss ... All that matters is the final score, and CU lost. Special teams are a part of the game, too. (23%, 90 Votes)

Your preference: A win over Michigan, or a win over Oregon?
  • Michigan. A win over the No. 4 team in the country would grab nationwide attention (61%, 260 Votes)
  • Oregon. Buffs need to show that they belong in the Pac-12, picking up a win in Eugene would be a great start (33%, 141 Votes)
  • Oregon ... State. I'm being realistic here. Get that important Win No. 3 in three weeks (6%, 27 Votes)

  • Nervous. I think Buffs have a chance, but the closer the game gets, the more worried I get (40%, 168 Votes)

  1. Stuart:

I like the question about SS’s negative coverage. Personally, I think the see-saw coverage is mostly about “stirring the pot” and/or getting clicks. SS is this year’s draft soap opera–a love/hate fest For one negative story there is a more positive one. Some stories are just hit jobs (anonymous NFL assistant/exec), others just cover every minutia of his life. Yesterday, Kiper has him still going early.

SS is an intriguing draftee warranting discussion, however the extensive overall coverage on every detail for one QB prospect seems over the top. NFL teams have their draft boards, needs, and evaluations and they make decisions based upon that. I’ll be glad when SS and TH are picked today and the focus will be on our team.

  2. The Buffs need to wear the silver and gold that are the official school colors. Black jerseys are OK as the’ve been around for a long time, but out with the black helmets–and the white ones too. Gold helmets with silver pants, alternating with silver helmets and gold pants would be good. Nix on all black and all white!!

  3. Stuart, your polls are so thoughtful and on point. Appreciate you doing this and sharing it with your CUAtTheGame community.

  4. Wouldn’t mind the Cheez-It Bowl at all, as I have connections at Kellogg’s (owns Cheez-it) who could get me tickets!! Is that Cheezy??? 🙂
